Absolutely the worst salon experience I’ve had in my life. Let me start with the girl who gave the butcher cut, Shyloh. I asked for a simple wash and cut but when I sat down, I immediately knew something was off when she started to shampoo my ends and condition my roots, then comes the part where she goes to dry my hair. She grabs out the roughest textured towel, and begins to squeeze and rub on my hair so I asked her politely to not use that on my hair and if I could instead ring it out She responds back with, so what do you just want to drip everywhere in a very unprofessional tone At this point, I don’t even know how to respond and I should have just paid for the wash and left but unfortunately, I allowed her to cut my hair anyways, please don’t be like me don’t let her cut your hair she took a massive chunk out of the side of my hair. Pictures will be attached the whole time I was unable to see myself because she never turned me towards the mirror to see what was going on and by the end of it I left feeling so sick about the entire interaction. I thought about it for days so I decided to come back to see if maybe she wasn’t just having a bad day giving her the benefit of the doubt. I was looking for an apology But she offered me a refund. I accepted, considering how bad my hair looked, and when we went inside for her to give me the refund. The owner Bailey comes around and starts to argue with me and tells me that there’s nothing wrong with my hair once again photos will be attached So you can make that judgment for yourself. The owner Begins aggressively combing my hair and I asked her to not do that and she responds. I know what I’m doing. She tries to claim that the butchered spot in my hair was just layering, And then she won’t give me a refund which I responded to with I didn’t ask for one all I was looking for was an apology But since they couldn’t act professional, for even one moment and even fake apology, I’m writing this review to hopefully spare someone from dealing with this place. So, I am changing my review from 3-4 years ago. So to explain in a readers digest kind of way. I went in with my son on a Friday evening a full hour before close to get our hair cuts. If you know us we are really easy and a mediocre barber could get both done well inside an hour. The barber/hair stylist refuse to cut both our hair an said he’d only be able to do one of us. If I walked in 15 minutes to close maybe. But an empty barber shop a full hour before close? I was mad, without saying anything other than never mind I went to Shawnee and got what I wanted done.

Well after this Bailey (who does an amazing job by the way) told me he no longer worked there and gave them another try. I knew of a couple of the girls that work there and they have always been great. Some days the wait can be long, but I have never been the make an appointment kind of guy. That’s a me thing. Even so, they do a great job of rotating between appointments and walk ins to take care of everybody, prices are more than fair. I never collected on the free haircut they offered LOL! Went back to get cut fixed and the side she feathered is an inch shorter on that side than the left and I asked her to cut that side and my right side is almost 2” shorter in front than left side I’m just so upset! I was a burden and why wouldn’t you just fix your mistake! I’m a newbie in town and I tried this place and today’s my 7th day to get it fixed and my hair is not blended anywhere! Darn it! Well we live and learn and no I don’t wanna hear how they cannot make me happy walking out and getting home and one side is an inch and a half longer on the side and pulling up the middle is a inch or more difference! Houston we got a problem ! Over and out ! Just admit your screw up and fix it! Everyone makes mistakes but being the bigger person and fixing it just makes all things right in the world or as 66 yr old woman having to walk around with on side 2” longer and the top layer and inch or more longer just makes you feel more old more stupid !
