I am an African American, and I experienced extreme racism shopping in DG today. As I was shopping, the cashier kept watching me as if I was shoplifting. I asked her what was wrong and immediately the District Manager, Annamarie, came out looked at me with disgust and just stared at me with hate. We had a verbal confrontation which was provoked by her nasty attitude and ugly disposition. I frequent this DG on many occasions and never felt such disrespect. Cashier named Lisa is extremely rude. Kept watching me and yelled at my kids because they were touching toys that I told them to pick out for Christmas. Very rude. Very unprofessional. There is away to talk to people and yelling is not it. They need to train workers. Idk if its because I am of color but it sure felt like it. Store is very clean and very organized. And the one person working was very nice. But ... they have 4 self checkouts that are all blocked off and you have to do the checkout through the one employee. And if something goes wrong , the manager is nowhere to be seen. It could have been a one time thing but we waited over 10 min to get checked out because of the line. Dollar Tree...
