Proclamation Flowers' expertise and vision sets them apart! Katie (the owner) has been a dear friend of mine for many years. When I was planning my wedding for fall of 2019 I knew that there was no one else who I could trust more to do the flowers. I already knew she was awesome but I was blown away by her expertise and ability to capture my vision. I wanted lots of greenery and white flowers, a very classic look but that's about where my vision ended. Katie took that and went above and beyond. My dress was very simple so Katie advised that I keep my flowers very elegant and streamlined as to not overwhelm me and the dress. Most boutiques you see these days are huge! While those are beautiful it would have been the wrong look for me and Katie knew that! The boutique she designed fit me perfectly! I really wanted a rustic feel so rather than traditional ribbon on the boutineers, Katie suggested leather cord to wrap them. Again it was the perfect touch and made it more masculine for the guys. For the general decor, she created beautiful boutiques to hang on the ends of the church pews. The reception tables were lined with eucalyptus and sprigs of white flowers. I was having trouble deciding what I wanted at the altar to the point that we never came up with a final plan...the day of the wedding I was so thrilled to see Katie had arranged greenery and several white flowers on the floor behind the altar...It was the perfect backdrop. Katie captured my vision perfectly and was able to make decisions that were right for me. She is so knowledgeable about everything. I know I keep referring to "white flowers and greenery " but that's only because I couldn't keep track of all the names! Honestly, there were probably 20 different types of greenery and flowers and since I'm no expert I won't even attempt to tell you what they were! The fact that Katie knew how to weave all these different types of white and green together created a wonderful depth and contrast that you couldn't achieve otherwise. I met Katie at a bridal expo back in 2019. At the time, I wasn't sure I was going to have fresh flowers at my wedding. After learning that proclamation flowers grew their own flowers locally, I was so fascinated and willing to see what they can offer. I met with Katie very early in my planning process and she helped me pick out all the flowers I wanted in my bouquet and helped me customize all our wedding flowers. I really appreciated this personal attention from a professional florist.

When our June 2020 wedding was postponed, my husband and I still got married with a small wedding ceremony. But I reached out to Katie and told her I still wanted flowers for our small wedding. Not only did she agree, but she really went over and beyond to make sure our arrangements were so special.

We still kept our contract and used Proclamation flowers for our wedding pt. 2 in June 2021... and the arrangements were so so beautiful and so perfect for our big celebration. I even saw Katie leaving our venue as I was arriving and I jumped out of the car to thank her. She was so excited and it made me really happy to have such a supportive vendor on that day.

Over the 2+ years I stayed in contact with Katie, she has always been so sweet and so genuine which is honestly what any bride really needs in a wedding vendor. Not only are their flowers their own and grown locally..... but their packages are fully customizable and reasonably priced. Planning a wedding is costly, but having the piece of mind that I got to hand pick all my arrangements (without being required a minimum spend) while also keeping costs down, really helped take a lot of stress off my plate.

Hello my name is Kayla!! I just got married back in September of 2019!! I had first met the owner (Katie) of Proclamation Flowers at a bridal expo earlier that year. I was a bit overwhelmed because I had not yet had a florist and had already spoken with a couple previous the bridal expo and just was not happy with how things were going. After speaking with Katie at the bridal expo, something she said just resonated in me. I found the information her and her husband gave me and emailed her right away. I could go on and on about Katie and how wonderful she was to work with. I could not believe that she gave me her personal cell to text her. It was very kind and thoughtful of her to go out of her way and do this. Any ideas I had I could send them to her and she would say I could that but say what about throwing this flower or this greenery in there and I would say I never thought about that, but that sounds amazing. She even went out of her way to meet with me and show me center pieces and bouquets she has done and what little touches she did to make it more what each bride/person envisioned it to be. She was great at responding back to me when ever I emailed her or texted her. Her work is simply amazing. I wanted a simple yet classy, elegant look to everything and she went way above and beyond what I envisioned it to be. It looked better than what I envisioned.
