The Hillbillies Store — Local services in Chanute

My friend and I went here to get birthday gifts for my husband, and although the selection was great for the location, the woman working who's name was Michelle was very rude. She followed us very closely around the store like we were thieves and everytime we would pick something up she would demand we give it to her to put behind the counter. She let us know their closing time was strictly enforced and we would be escorted out at 6 purchased completed or not. Also the is clear signing authentication entrance that all prices are negotiable, but evidently not with Michelle. I spent almost $200 here and I would have expected to have been treated with a little courtesy. I likely won't return here purely because I don't want to run into...

High pricing, even though their door says they negotiate prices the owners said something along the lines of “it’s like Wally World you pay as priced” even though they are know for negotiating. I was charged $20 + for a pair of earrings when it was priced $10 each & she said they sale them separately because some people only have one pierced… no jewelry store does this maybe with nose jewelry but not with earrings, the lady also made a weird sexual comment to me and my bf when I went with him to the back area because I didn’t want to be alone!!
