This store is right in my neighborhood, but I cannot say I have had great experiences whenever the older man behind the counter is there. The other employees all seem like very polite, personable, and hard working folks. Last time I encountered the older man with glasses during check out, I greeted him with a “good afternoon, Sir” to be polite and in response he said “are you from communist China?” - This hardly seems like a way to greet anyone, much less a customer, of any background and does not seem very welcoming. He probably spent 10 minutes chatting nicely with the customers prior to me after they paid, but as soon as he saw me I received pretty abrupt and cold service. If you can get that through your head, then this place is as good as it gets. The staff are super friendly, have core family values, and will do anything within their power to make a sane and reasonable person happy.
