Tioga County Fair Grounds — Local services in Charleston Township

The annual fair is decent considering how small it is but the actual fairgrounds are horrible if you're handicapped, elderly, have various health problems, or simply get tired and need a place to sit. Other than the seating at the various shows there are literally zero places to sit. Not a single bench on the fairgrounds. I've been to fairs and parks all across the country and every one of them has plenty of benches. They seem to realize a comfortable customer will stay longer and thus spend more. Had a good time at the Tioga County Fair. It was family-friendly, the kids enjoyed the carnival rides, and there was plenty of good food and live music in the evening. During the day, plenty of vendors, informational displays, local arts & crafts, and a wide variety of 4-H projects & animal shows to entertain or interest us all. Plenty of trash & recycling...

Very disappointed! The modified tractor pulls were called due to rain, and we don't even have the option to use our ticket for another event. Ridiculous. Charge big money for an event that is cancelled an hour later. Absolutely uncalled for. I would give zero stars if I could. It's because of local people that these events prosper, and I won't be back....
