I bought the "No Sweat" (vapor barrier) Shirt & Pants and was AMAZED by the incredible performance of the product and excellent customer service! The pants didn't fit quite right, so I sent them back for alterations. They fit perfectly now and Kim at Warmlite didn't even charge me for the alterations! Are you kidding me? NOBODY does that! I took the shirt on a 4-day snowshoe hike in sub-freezing conditions and wore it in camp and in my sleeping bag. In camp, I wore the shirt by itself until sunset and then added a down jacket over the shirt and was totally comfortable. Normally I would've worn 4 or 5 layers in those same conditions and been less warm. The shirt was the only layer I wore in my 20 degree sleeping bag and I was toasty. Usually I'm a very cold sleeper, so this was wonderful. I've tried vapor barrier products before and usually they make me feel a bit sweaty or the material feels unpleasantly like plastic against my skin. But Warmlite's "Fuzzy Stuff" lining eliminated those problems and the lining didn't get the slightest bit damp. The surprisingly low price for these items was just the icing on the cake. Well...
Read moreI have owned the 2 person warmlite tent for about 5 years now. Used it consistently on weekly basis on my climb, and ski/snowboard backcountry trips with quite a bit of abuse. At this point it even replaced my lightweight backpacking 3 season too tent due to its light weight unlike other 4 season tents as I don’t have use for multiple tents. Where it really stands out is on the glaciers in the PNW on my winter adventures and I been really happy with it. I had a chance to tested out in a 60 mph winds on some of the Cascade volcanos multiple times over the years, and felt comfortable those nights. Pretty sure it can take more, but I am not going out there to try that out. Only other thing to consider is that it’s not a free standing tent, but I never had issues using a ski pole, ice axe, random rocks, or big pieces of snow and ice to set it up in couple of minutes. Don’t think I would go to anywhere else as the tunnel design works great in storms and it’s dpacious enough for 2 bigger guys with 2 full backpacks without any issues and...
Read moreMy first purchase with Warmlite was their inflatable air mattress. Thereafter, I bought their sleeping bag which, contains a compartment for the air mattress. Thus, eliminating the need to keep my sleeping bag centered on the pad. After these two satisfying purchases, I purchased their three person two wall expedition tent. I was able to add features that I felt were necessary for me. About my gear, I am very happy with my purchases. About repairs and/or replacement parts or new additions to my equipment, for example, an inflatable air sack or new pole section, Warmlite is there. If my tent should requires a repair, I can send it back to them. These conveniences are astronomical, for me, because, they manufacturer their equipment here in the states. They stand by their products; all you need to do is follow their equipment instructions relative to each product to maintain its' reliability in the back country. Finally, I find their equipment outstanding. Give their website a look, I am sure...
