Food Lion — Local services in Charlotte

I don't like having a food lion close to home but this is the only store I can shop at whenever I need to and there is a reason why I never like this location. I never liked most of the employees here but some are ok. the employees aren't most of them are young teen girls who doesn't have any respect towards customers. The CSM,ACSM, clerk #126, Jordyn needs to go she always have negative thoughts towards customers by all means don't ever have her do a return, write a raincheck or have her ring you up, she will have an attitude for no reason. I don't know why food lion would hire her in the first place. She will pull out her phone i think she recorded our conversation. Both CSM aren't providing outstanding service especially the ACSM big lady with the blonde hair and glasses Her attitude towards me is like she don't want to deal with me when it comes with Raincheck or that I come in here all the time. Mind your own business I should receive respect and I show you respect all the time. I want to shop elsewhere but ever since bi-lo left and harris teeter increase their price I have no choice to shop at food lion. The store is going under renovations and soon have a self checkout. I hate dealing with Food lion employees drama not so excellent customer service. Do better! I'm going to go to the one on WT Harris Blvd so I don't have to see none of those ladies at customer service. They close the store right before...

I wanted to write a review about this place for a long time. This place is like 8 minutes away from my house. The times i been there the staff IS rude. My dad doesn't speak very good English but he SPEAKS its very clear. So he went to asked if they CAN check his ;lottery ticket. And this black woman say '1 dollar" my dad say "no is free can you check numbers please" and this racist, opportunist, women thought she was going to get away with it this time. My dad is a client, so she always treated my dad like this every time. Well my dad call me because he was tired of her always being like that to him. So i went to explain to this woman that he only wanted to check his numbers. She then back off and got scared and tried to change his words, Saying that my dad didn't say that. MY dad say "NO, i say check my numbers"

Well, i think is very disrespectful to discriminate customers based on ethnicity. I can't believe people take advantage of people that cannot defend themselves from others. I hope she changes one day to become a better person!! god bless her :)))))

Food Lion promotes an appealing view to the general public, and try to paint some charitable organization to the local community. There are so many great under utilized individuals within, that can do so much more . Like any major corporation operating in a " AT WILL " employment setting Employee files complaint with company or state agency Employer + Employee - - - - big minus a. Food Lion during the pandemic really demonstrated the hypocrisy they live in, due to corporate mentality $$$$ , failing senior local store staff, and the employees that supported these management teams. Employees lives were put in danger and many lost lost their lives. The turn over rate of employees with this employer is like many others due in part to the lack of proper; a.
