I have not been in this gym for over a year now, but I can speak to the months of usage I got out of the JCC in 2019-2020. This is a unique fitness experience. When you stroll through the iconic doors, you will be greeted with a scanner to enter the facility. This is where you have the opportunity to do a trick shot scanning of your Jcard. After entering, I recommend starting off your Jexperience by entering the locker room. The locker room for normal humans can be found through the door on the left. Enter through this. The door on the right is for distinctive members. However, after entering through the normal door, you can traverse your way into the distinctive locker room or even pretend to "wander" into the distinctive. The mirrors are sublime, ideal for all post-workout imagery. You will also find the lockers of legendary members such as Carlos McCracken and Jeff Epstein, along with a common member like Jacquan Johnson. Once in the distinctive area, you will be greeted with welcoming glares from the actual distinctive members who may be suspicious of you. This is the signal to begin your preworkout ritual. Inject preworkout of any variety and hype yourself up for the upcoming lift. After a few minutes, your ritual will have induced the necessity to make a deposit in one of the bathroom stalls. Please do this. From here, you may now enter the fitness center. Give it a once over and acquire your target. You may now approach the bench. As you take the time to lift in the J, you will notice many gym idiots. This is nothing of concern, simply a part of the JCC clientele. Observe these people. Film them. Laugh at them. And make sure to not copy their form when performing exercises. The J lifting experience is unlike any other. You will probably be the biggest person there and the only person who actually knows how to lift properly. Make sure to banterously fool around with equipment too, this will only enhance your time at the J. As you conclude your workout, do abdominal training in the small room in the fitness center, or any other random area of the JCC. When you have secured the pump of a lifetime, go back to the distinctive locker room and flex for all the world to see. Exit the facility and bask in the gazes of staff and members in utter awe...

Read moreI came as a guest this morning to play pick up basketball during the regularly scheduled open gym time. When I entered the gym there were 2 teams playing, 2 teams waiting, plus the group I came with. After another group of players came in, we asked JCC staff to lower the remaining goals and split the court so 4 teams could play at once since there wolere more than 30 people in the gym. They said that wouldn't be a problem and proceeded to lower the retractable goals. The men on the court stopped their game and said there was no way they would share the court. We tried to explain we were only thing to allow more people to enjoy the court at once. They didn't care and insisted they have the whole gym to theirselves because my (African American) friends and I we're obviously not members. They continued to escalate this issue by cursing, refusing to resume their game and once they actually finally started back, they deliberately slowed the game to a crawl to prevent us from playing. After wasting half an hour triptr to play a game of pick up I just decided to leave. Needless to say, I will not be visiting again. If you are looking for common courtesy, a family friendly environment or a place where you won't be judged by how Jewish you look this is not the...
