In 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and a partner played 18 holes on yesterday and initially our round was going well up until we reached the 16th hole and were exposed to anything other than a gentleman experience. After teeing off my partners ball was farthest away so while waiting for the group in front of us to depart off the green so we could hit our second and third shots my partner hit an errant shot which went right of the green and he then yelled "4" immediately after to let the group know the ball was coming there way. Shortly after we were yelled at "f yall" loudly on the course by one of the guys in the group ahead of us. The outburst was flat out rude and disrespectful. I was so outraged by this outburst and could not believe what I had just listened to coming from a fellow golfer as errant shots happen sometimes on the course. We got on our cart to go over and ask the guy what was his problem and why the need to yell curse words at us he approached our cart with a driver in his hand and said "if that ball would have hit me we would have a problem". My partner told the guy it was unintentional and out of respect "4" was yelled and he was also apologizing to the guy although the ball didn't touch him.That was not enough for him he continued to go on a tangent and then said to us "you black people". My mouth dropped in disbelief and as you can imagine our round of golf was over at that point. Upon going to the clubhouse the manager gave us a rain check and went and talked to the guy. Although I don't blame the management to have to deal with racism and idiots like this when playing golf is flat out ridiculous. To add insult to injury both me and my partner are paying members of Ratcliffe Golf Services and will not renew because of this. What a...

I have played this course a couple times and I think the course is great for the money. The course is great but the staff at the front desk in particular were terrible and rude. I went into the pro shop to pay for the 9 holes and the cart fee. The guy I checked in with already had a bad attitude and was snarky. I then grabbed my cart loaded up my clubs and me and my Gf hopped in the cart to go to the first tee. While I’m teeing off the marshal drives up all frantic and accuses us of stealing a cart and demanding we go to the pro shop now. I showed him my bank withdraw for the money but he insisted I didn’t and made me go back up. I then went back up to the pro shop and they accused me of lying then when I showed them the transaction they said it was because my gf was in the cart and I needed to pay extra for her just to be in it. I am new to golf so I don’t know if that’s a thing so I asked him why I had to pay 2 cart fees for one cart and he got very angry and cussed at me in a threatening way and told me not to raise my voice.Then the other guy came out and accused me of lying to them and said I knew what I was doing.after all that I didn’t even want to golf there anymore so I asked for a refund and the manager came out and was very polite and gave me one. Called the front desk a day in advance to book a tee time and they told me to come up there anytime because they said they don’t book tee times and they said it’s suppose to rain when I scheduled my time so they told me not to book. I show up the next day with no tee time and no rain forecasted at all and they said they have no tee times available unless I wanted to play the practice course. I said that’s fine just trying to compromise and then proceeded to pay for the short course but then the black gentleman behind the front desk that wasn’t even checking me out said I see your girl is here with you so that’s an additional $10 for a passenger even though she was only using the bathroom and she doesn’t even play golf at all. I’ve never been charged for a guest rider on the practice course before and I’ve played at this course over 20 times. . I think they are inconsistent and biased based off if they know you or not.
