My Wife and I have gone through the 6-week training and paid for everything that was needed. One of the workers came to do our CPR at home, and we have dogs (5), so we keep them outside during the training. At the end of the training, she requested that the dogs come in. I have been with Thompson Child and Family Focus for the past 3 and a half years. I have been asking for a placement for over a year with a specified age group being that my last foster child went to an adoptive home. To-date I do not have a placement, yet they renewed my license. NO ONE can't tell me that within 1 year you have not had any referrals that is a fit for my home. I should have transferred a longgggg time ago. I will not detail my experience here as a lawsuit is pending but to anyone who sees this please know they do not prioritize helping families especially not children, in fact they seem to aim to increase instability and undermine parents.
