The entire process was very smooth and professional from start to finish. The process started with a consultation and a company background presentation. The flexibility with the project manager was smooth and was always in touch if we needed him. We had our hearts set on a product but after finding out that it was not only on back order, but it was much more expensive, we were able to find a equal beautiful product.

Unfortunately, the product that we chose was on back order for over a couple of months. We were able to finally get the product mid May. The day before the installation, the product as well as the dumpster was delivered. The product manager coordinated all of this and gave us time frames on everything so we were able to plan accordingly.

On the day of install, the project manager introduced me to the install team. Everything went smooth. The job was mostly completed on day one without hiccups. The had to put some trim on “shoe” on day two and everything looked great!

A few days later, we had the final walkthrough with the project manager and pointed out a few minor defects. There was quick turn around on this and now everything looks great!

The overall experience I would give a 3.8 out of 5. Since I can’t do that on Google, I gave it a 4. Now, the reason they didn’t get a 5 out of 5. During the install, I periodically went down to see the progress. Towards late afternoon on day 2, I noticed the dumpster being taken away. So I walked downstairs and saw all the furniture was still sitting in the staging spots and our huge white cabinet still in the utility room where the workers moved it. I had no idea if they were done or not as nothing was put back when they moved it. Also, they did a number 1 in our toilet and never flushed!!!

Well, It's one year later and I chose FCI again for my upstairs flooring. I went with the LVP again. I worked with Josh and Jamal. To say they are excellent is an understatement. I knew it would be done right and I would have the result I was expecting. I was not disappointed. The flooring is outstanding and the installers were fantastic. My project was done in one day and I am so pleased.

Josh is the best project manager you will find in the twin cities. He coordinates the entire project from beginning to end and his execution is flawless. I knew from experience that he would do his best to provide the best customer service, installation, and follow up throughout the project. I am so pleased. I highly recomment FCI and particularly Josh Pederson.

Choosing a vendor to provide flooring is a real chore. It took hours of visiting stores, taking pictures, deciding on flooring, and them the prospect of choosing a contractor was way too daunting. We are quite pleased with our experience engaging Floor Coverings International's Dakota County franchise. Joe Pederson was great to work with and provided useful input when we were comparing luxury vinyl plank (LVP) products. We had a tie between Mannington Adura and Shaw CoreTec LVP. In the end, we chose CoreTec flooring by Shaw for our main level plus carpet for a couple rooms and stairs on our upper level.

Joe has specific installers for his carpet and hard flooring jobs which resulted in superior workmanship. The carpet crew removed the old upstairs carpeting/pad and had the new product completely installed in just over 3 hours. The LVP crew spent the day removing old flooring and installing the new vinyl flooring. Since we had just replaced the driveway, Joe arranged for both the LVP and carpet crews to take the construction trash with them, rather than having a dumpster. Both crews were respectful of our home.

3 weeks after the LVP was installed, one of our pictures decided to fall off the wall and it caused a small dented area on one of the planks. Joe arranged to have one of his repair contractors replace that plank. This was completed quickly and the installer did a great job at a very reasonable price.

Our only regret with replacing our flooring is that we didn't do this years ago! Our house looks like new after our "little" project was completed. We highly recommend Joe and Floor Coverings International Dakota County and will use them again for flooring work should...
