Red Umbrella Farm Stand — Local services in Chatham Township

My husband and I love this farm stand! For the past few years we've been part of the yearly farm share program, but still frequently buy extra produce there since everything is so fresh and delicious.

The quality of the fruits and vegetables is unmatched by other local farm stands in the Medina County area - especially the berries, peaches (seriously, amazing), plums, watermelon, cantaloupe, corn, beans, peppers, tomatoes, squash, carrots, and even the cabbage. Everything is grown without any chemical sprays or pesticides. I've even gotten my husband to love eating cabbage, brussel sprouts, and pickles thanks to this place!

The woman that runs the stand is very friendly and passionate about providing healthy foods. She even helps me figure out how to cook some of the more unique produce offered. The farm stand hosts fun, kid-friendly events around the summer and fall holidays. We love feeding the pigs and chickens, and holding the cats and rabbits! Most of the animals here are rescues - She puts in a lot of effort socializing them, ensuring they are healthy, and then works to find them loving forever homes. It’s really nice to know our donations go toward all this effort.

These are the best peaches I’ve ever had! I have bought from The Peach Truck for many years, but never again because Red Umbrella’s peaches are far superior. My 16 year old ate 3 within the first hour of having them home and is now making a peach crisp.

The owner was very communicative and accommodating. She let us know when the peaches should be at their peak ripeness and communicated often. I love that I have a time frame of different days and hours at my convenience to pick them up, knowing they were picked that day. No more having to go within a couple hour time frame on a specific day the truck is near my location and waiting in long lines. ...

Red Umbrella CSA is the BEST! This has been my first year with the farm. Picking all of our fresh veggies, fruits and eggs has been wonderful… we have made new recipes and learned a lot too!
