General Impression: Quiet campground to enjoy a campfire and nature without a lot of distractions. Cost $ 49 per night / $31.42 per night at weekly rate Value: The weekly rate I would say this is a 4, but at the daily rate I’d give it a 2 or 3

Campground: Small campground with green surround and trees dispersed throughout with a great campground feel. Campsite # 41 Campsite Type: gravel with grass between sites and most pull through set up in a grid fashion. A few close to the road are back in. Mostly level right to left but needed leveling blocks on one side, definitely not front to back. We had Full hookups 50 & 30 #thifty We had a picnic table and fire ring, but the fire ring was almost falling apart. Not all sites had fire rings. No grill. No Wifi. Verizon 80 Down and 1 up Starlink: 70 down and 4.7 up They had a spot for dump station, but appears to be out of order. Propane filling area. There was little road noise on our end of the campground, but next to the road there was a small amount of road noise. Amenities: They had 6 showers that were individual rooms connected to the office area and men’s and women’s bathrooms beyond that. Multiple dumpsters located throughout the campground. Laundry room had 5 washers and 3 dryers, but at least 1 of the dryers was labeled “low heat”. $1.50 for each. They do have a change machine which we appreciate! Pool, nice playground, basketball half court, horseshoes, and outside exercise equipment. They have a community firepit and outdoor kitchen under a gazebo. Front porch with rockers and swing. Dog friendliness: They have a perimeter of grass with several pickup stations that were fully stocked and a nice large dog park for off-leash time.

Camp store: A nice assortment of grocery items and the prices were reasonable. They had ice and firewood as well as a frozen food section.

Camp staff interactions: Friendly but a bit frustrating to get checked in. Only 1 person at the desk meant he couldn’t leave the shop to show us to our campground, and he insisted on walking us to our campsite. He had to ask the shopping customer to leave so he could lock the office and show us to our site or to get ice for other customers. Multiple people trying to check in and shop and calling on the phone-- it seems to me the campground is busy enough to warrant two folks working especially during popular check-in times.

Additional info: The closest place to get supplies is a Family Dollar about 7 miles away. The largest chain grocery is a Piggly Wiggly about 12 miles away, but note it is in a different time zone because the campground is that close to the line. Just make sure to check the hours of operation before heading out.

Room: 4 – Needed leveling blocks, had a fire ring but mostly rusted, and we had sufficient grassy space in between, but most sites were smaller then ours. Service: 3 Location: 4 – easy access, little noise on our side of the campground, but it’s pretty remote with a longer drive to stores...

We stayed one night on Site# 40. Check in is at 2pm (no one is the office before two to check you in - they are clear about that. Believe them) and Check out is 11am. We had a Full hook- up;Gravel Pull-through which was Easy to level.

Our site was Shaded with some trees and considered a small to Medium sized lot - it comes with a Concrete patio with picnic table and fire ring.

It is an Easy access to campground from highway (about 1mile from highway).

There is Zero wifi - we tried to hook up our Starlink but it didn’t pick up here even though we had good clearance.

They have an Outdoor kitchen and Outdoor community fire pit.

They sell wood for $6 for a bundle. You must walk to garbage dumpster (no trash pickup at site).

You are allowed to ride golf carts but unable to rent golf carts or pedal bikes. A Golf cart is not really needed since it is a small campground They do have a Swimming pool. There is not a lake for fishing. They do have a Playground (and outdoor exercise area) with a small one hoop basketball court. There didn’t appear to be Bocce ball, shuffleboard, horseshoe, or volleyball courts.

They have a Good general store with snacks, household goods, frozen foods, etc. We aren’t sure if there is an Activity Center for kids or activities scheduled in the summer (it’s mid-March).

There isn’t a snack bar/restaurant or Game room for kids. We didn’t see putt putt or a jumping pad.

The Streets are gravel and not great for riding bikes. We didn’t see any where to ride bikes outside of campground.

This is a RV Park with cabins. They do have a deluxe camping area for tent camping.

The shower house has Individual bathrooms with own sink, shower, toilet & clean - these are kept very clean.

They do have a Laundry facility (cash only).

They have a great fenced in Dog area with doggy bags. It is huge for an RV park. They need an area for humans to sit.

There were some gnats- bug spray needed occasionally.

There was a trail to hike off of the campground. It is about 0.65 miles from my campsite start to finish. But going in the trail from the back part is straight down, then straight up, then it...

UPDATE (2025): This is our 175th stop and our third time here (last just 6 months ago) for one night. Our few interactions with the owners has been nothing but positive - had one issue and quickly responded. The park can hold larger rigs as there were many 40 foot plus motorhome and 5th wheels. Orherwise, no other changes to previous reviews and would stay here again in the future.Updated (2024): Flat Creek Family Campground is our 168th stop and we stayed overnigh This is our second time staying here and have already booked a 3rd time next year. In the 4 years since our last stay, have done a great job keeping up. Great check in and were walked to the site. The site is a good gravel composite, level and we had some shade trees. Incoming road around the pool is asphalt but the rest of the roads are gravel. Far enough off the highway that it is very quiet. The showers were amazing with hot water, very clean and had an excellent solution with a drop down bench. Have a nice pool and huge and well-maintained dog park. Overall, would rate it 4.5 which is higher than initial review. No cable or WiFi with a handful of OTA channels. Connectivity (4:30 pm): Verizon 70.0 down/46.8 up; T-Mobile 7.75 down/2.15 up. Initial: Stayed overnight as it was just a mile off I-10 as part of a longer trip out west – easy off and on highway access. Upon arrival, were greeted by an exceptionally nice woman in the office who checked us in. A couple of takeaways: 1) was very quiet, 2) cell signal was outstanding (T-Mobile and Verizon) as there were two huge cell towers across the street, 3) the dog park was ridiculously large, and 4) the bathrooms were very clean. There was no internet or cable but were able to access more than 20 over the air stations. Stayed on site 41. Would definitely...

Update (3/2022): This used to be Triple C (CCC) Campground. As far as we can tell, nothing has changed except for the employees...they are very welcoming. They close the office for lunch, but there's a check-in board inside next to the office door listing the reservation sites, as well as the open sites. We had a quiet, one night stay on the way to our next destination. (3/2021) This is a really nice campground (RVs & tents). The staff are friendly and helpful. They are always busy with yard work, cleaning or checking folks in. It's quiet! There's a pool, kid's playground, laundry room, bathroom, outdoor kitchen, dog park & store. They sell firewood & propane. Great Verizon & Sprint signal! Most of the gravel sites are level...there are some premium sites that are paved. Several state parks are close by, including Florida Caverns State Park. There's a Walmart not too far in either direction down I-10. Some good eats in Marianna. Triple C's seems to be a popular overnight stop for many RVers. We were here for a week and the 6 spots around us were always full in the evening and empty in the morning. Did I mention it's quiet...so nice after noisy highways or crowded campgrounds with loud camping groups.
