Saginaw County Fairgrounds — Local services in Chesaning Township

Never missed a year taking my kids. This year they had the zipper, which I remember riding as a kid. The operator had long long lines out both gates because he was running long rides. I thought I was just getting old because that ride beat me up alot...it's not just me, every person I've talked to is bruised and hurt from that ride. My daughter was tossed around so I had to hold her down too, and the ride just wouldn't stop. I really thought it was me getting old, but that ride has 3 kids that will never ride again. Everything else was pretty awesome out there. They have the best games and food of any fair I've ever been too. Having the Vietnam memorial this year was pretty awesome. Me and my 1 year son try to ride the merry-go-roundbut we got kicked off because someone doesn't know how to use their voice and the Merry-Go-Round is his favorite I don't understand because I don't speak sign language I'm very mad at the person that told us we had to get off because all he did was told my Aunt to get off and then he didn't even come to me he just kept using his hands and I don't understand sign language or any of that so I'm leaving a two-star review and I grew up there I'm very mad because as that person who didn't come towards me and asked me to please get off the right and we'll try again and that is his favorite ride he got to write it last year with no problems but someone doesn't know how to come forward and speak up...

2023: We went to the county fair on a Tuesday, which was cheaper than the weekend. It was really nice, not packed with people compared to the weekend. Always enjoy looking at the exhibit barn and animals. The tractor pulls was fun to watch. Kiddos had fun with the games and kiddy rides. Fair food was great, the freshly squeezed lemonade was super sweet and sooooo good.

2024: Prices went up, I think they're using a new amusement park service. Don't like the new setup. Had to pay $22 for kids over 36" even if they are too young to ride the rides. Everyone has to pay $22, which is ridiculous and a rip off of you don't/can't ride the rides. Other than that, it was fun. We went on Saturday afternoon and it surprisingly wasn't that packed. No...
