Lemon Seed Designs Forever Jewelry — Local services in Chesapeake

Came across this little store while shopping in what’s left of the mall. I went in looking for lemon decor for my mother and realized quickly this was not that kind of store. I was greeted by a lovely sales associate and actually found a piece of jewelry I wanted to purchase. I found a silver bangle on a shelf and asked for the exact same bracelet only instead of whatever it said I’d like my child’s name. A simple bangle, with a name and maybe a heart. I was told this item would ship out within 2 days, with it being a Friday I assumed the following week. I paid by card in store and did not receive any reciept, order confirmation, follow up info, nothing. So after several days I reached out, only the store is randomly closed some days so I had to message them on FB. The owner called me and explained that I requested items they don’t typically carry, which was false, so it would take longer. I was extremely frustrated that the blame was immediately put on me when her associate was the one who put the order in. She explained it would be weeks, not days. Again very frustrating but I was willing to wait, to support a women owned business in covid. Weeks later I received my bracelet, WITH MY CHILDS NAME SPELT WRONG!!! At this point I can’t believe they would send out something to a customer who’s already had issues without double checking it. I immediately contacted the owner and requested a refund because I wasn’t going to wait 2 months for a bracelet that I was told would take 2 days when I came get it anywhere really. After she confirmed she would process a refund I never received one. I waited several weeks and reported it to my bank. They processed it promptly. For something that was over $100 I feel the level of care and attentiveness was lacking. I got the bracelet remade for 1/2 the price in 3 days from another seller. I won’t be returning or recommending this business to anyone in the future. Seems there is ALOT of work that needs to be done to ensure customer satisfaction for items not directly purchased...

I was wandering around the mall with my family when I noticed this bright, friendly store and just had to take a peek! I was greeted very warmly by the owner/artist Angie who had such a sweet, vivacious personality that you can't help but feel welcomed in her place. It's filled with such a variety of beautiful and unique pieces that I impulsively purchased a couple pieces including an anklet the owner made me to match a necklace i had fallen for. It's such a great place to find gifts and unique jewelry. My daughter has already asked me if we could attend the jewelry making classes they offer so we're excited about that. This is a wonderful store inside if McArthur mall. Angie has beautiful handmade Hawai’i inspired Jewelry. She’s great to work with and super down to earth and will help you find that something special or she’ll create it for you. She also offers classes in her space where she teaches you how to make you own pieces and she features other crafters as well and they’re super fun. If your from the islands and in the Norfolk, VA area it’s a nice place to get a little piece of home. Love Lemon...
