Moyock Farm Market — Local services in Chesapeake

Found out about Moyock Farmers Market a few months back on a local FB page. I finally got a moment to stop in and take a look. Their prices are reasonable and they have more than you’d expect. I’ve been wanting cobbler lately, but I don’t eat enough sweets to justify making any. So I was elated to see they had Cherry Cobbler since I hate peach. It is absolutely delicious and big enough for me to split it into two servings.

I also picked up the Carolina BBQ pork it’s not my favorite, but the coleslaw that I bought to go with it is the best I’ve ever had! The woman who was there today was friendly and helpful. She even gave me recommendations on things I’ll be going back for soon.

I’m glad to know this place is right up the road from me with delicious desserts, produce, meats, and cheeses. You certainly can’t find good produce like they have here at the local...

Remember me? My husband was particular about choosing a watermelon haha. We are from PA, heading back we normally stop somewhere else but didnt have time. I threatened him that he better find a man selling watermelons along side the road because I had to have a NC melon for home. PA produce is horrid! First off, the market is adorable and has all that you need... fresh fresh fresh yum! Super friendly, and that melon was the size of my 5 year old lol! I cut it open today and probably could have convinced myself easily to drive 10 hours back to get another. Beyond delicious!!!!! Each year on our way down now.... What an incredible market with a HUGE variety of local items! We found out this market is family owned and operated. We shop small local business and this one is definitely a new stop for us! We have purchased fruit, veggies, seafood, milk, icecream, plants, flowers, pumpkins, decorations, honey, and many other items. It is wonderful to spend the extra dollar to keep your money local with a market like this one. Not only are all the items wonderful and delicious, but you can see the time and energy POURED into the set up, displays, and product.
