Like an apple that is beautiful on the outside, but rotten on the inside, that is what this farm is like. I visited with my wife and three young daughters and thought "Wow, what a beautiful little farm for apple picking, and even no entrance fee!" But soon after leaving the car, we realized what this place is really like. We brought a small Veer wagon (amazing utility, look them up!) to act like a stroller for our two- and four-year-old daughters. About 50 feet away from the entrance to apple picking a woman starts madly yelling at us "NO WAGONS! NO WAAAGGGOOOONS!!!" My wife and I looked at each other, startled. We shrugged our shoulders and I just returned it to the car. When we finally reached the entrance together, the woman explained that it has something to do with insurance. Ok...but how about just telling us that instead of insanely yelling at us from a distance? After apple picking, we went to buy pumpkins at the store and we realized that we could not carry everything by ourselves, so we thought why not use the wagon as a cart. No children would be in it, just pumpkins. My wife fetched the wagon and started filling it when one minute later she was screeched at again by the same woman, "NO WAAAGOONS!" My wife just dumped the pumpkins and we left then and there. No place is worth patronizing if their staff treat their shoppers so rudely!!! It may look nice, but stay away from here if you want to be treated with any...
Read moreNow let me state that this is my fault for not looking into this and that I should have called ahead and see if they allow dogs (we have two small Pups). I have been to many other farms where they allow dogs. I went there with my family on 10/23. Places looked awesome and we were looking forward to picking apples and going on the tractor ride. I went there with my family and we did not even approach the apple picking stand when this elderly woman came up to my wife and told us that we are not allowed to have dogs here. My wife said ok we were not aware but she kept insisting for us to leave and rudely told her get your dogs out of here!!! That they will pee on the apples that are on the ground!! To that elderly woman. Not sure if you were having a bad day but when you run a business being kind is the...
Read moreSuch a lovely apple picking experience! My 3.5yo and 2 yo nephews told my husband and me we were going apple picking on our weekend watching them. I was concerned about over stimulation at of many of the big farms with all of the extras. Park Farm was such a lovely and peaceful experience. It was not an overload. It was the perfect balance of an activity with the boys and a just nice morning. The 3.5yo felt like he met a celebrity when he got to talk to “the farmer” I am sorry I forgot your name but he talked about how excited he was to talk to the farmer all weekend.
Thank you for a lovey relaxed morning. We are looking forward to pumpkin picking when we have another weekend with the two...
