Howard's Leather Store Inc. — Local services in Chesterfield

Small place, not much room to move around, very good quality merchandise with a great selection. A bit pricey, but feel if you want good quality, you get what you pay for. This is our 3rd time in the store. We have bought our jackets, boots, gloves etc from Howard's and love them. The first 2 times we had a lady help us who was very friendly, professional and courteous. Today there were 4 young girls who followed us around, as soon as we would leave one area they would rush in and look like they were neating items. Every single thing I looked at, I put back where it came from. These girls watched everything we did and were right on us, like a car salesman. I felt like we had done something we shouldn't have. After spending over a $1000 prior, we weren't about to steal a $40 item. Unfortunately, im sure it happens frequently. These girls were not rude, in fact very polite when speaking. We were greeted when we entered and when we left. It wasn't very busy and maybe they were bored. We found a item close to what I was looking for and left, without looking at a couple things i wanted to, feeling uneasy and not a great shopping experience compared to the...

I went in looking to buy my first pair of cowboy boots not knowing the first thing about them other then round toe and square toe and that I wanted a pair , the lady in the store (didn’t catch her name ) was very friendly helpful and informative on the products and took the time to help me figure out what size and style suited me best , if anyone in the area is looking at getting a pair of boots or any other sort of leather items like jackets belts hats wallets etc I’d recommend checking them out first , at Howard’s leather store they made it clear they care about their customers and have no problem taking care of you and ensuring you’re getting the right and best product for your dollar very pleased with my visit there and I will be back to buy all my future cowboy / leather purchases from here on out thank you to the incredible staff at Howard...

My daughter and I stopped here on the way from NH to NY the other day. The store has an amazing display of leather goods and we enjoyed looking at the various merchandise. The sales staff were very helpful, but not pushy. The sale prices on the jackets were very good and I tried one on that I liked, even though I really wasn't in the market for one, having three already in my closet. When I got home I realized I was missing a bracelet that has a lot of sentimental value to me, but didn't know where it could be. After exhausting all other options on where I might have lost it, I tracked down the store (not even remembering it's name!) and they had my bracelet and had kept it safe! Now they are sending it on to me free of charge no less!! I'm so impressed and grateful. Can't recommend this store highly enough for their help...
