My parents switched to this. It is fast if you are in a 20 foot radius, after that you get nothing. Their old providers signal was strong enough for them to go on the front porch, back porch or to the park across the street. The installer mounted it in the bottom corner of a wall, anchored it in good too. Now my parents are paying for a service they don't really get and if they switch out to another provider there will be holes in their wall that will require a professional to repair. They live in a home that would be accepted into the historical society homes, if they applied. Real nice job there that these Bozo's hacked up, destroy a wall so you can't leave them or you have a hole to repair. It's sad that people want to keep their money local, but the company doesn't care if they tear up your home or if you even get the service you are paying for. Lots of buffering with 2 devices running. You have to pay $30 a month for a phone even if you don't use one just to get a somewhat good deal on internet. If you don't pay for a phone your internet bill pretty much doubles. So for the lowest speed and a phone costs $83 and you get slow internet and your bill will slowly go up. The technician installed my unit on the far side of my house and I asked them if it would make the service slow on the other side of the house, he said no. What do you know, the service is slow on that side of house and now they want me to pay $150 just to move the unit to a central location!
