Valley Vista is a mountain goat’s dream course, hilly, rugged, and full of character. The fairways are on the dry side, but the greens are in decent shape and roll surprisingly well. What really sets this course apart are the views, absolutely stunning, especially if you don’t mind climbing a few hills to see them.
Now, the golf carts? Let’s just say they’ve seen better days. You’ll feel like you’re riding in a relic from the course’s glory years, so hang on tight and enjoy the bumpy ride.

Read moreBeautifully designed course with great views on almost every hole. Extremely difficult course to walk, especially the back nine, with a peak and a valley on seemingly every hole. Greens are fairly nice for an affordable public course, perhaps a bit on the slow side. Only a few holes worth trying to use driver on the back nine unless you are really accurate and can draw or fade on demand. Front nine is much more forgiving to a wayward drive or two.
The tee boxes are pretty beat up on some holes and even though I never use a cart, the cart paths are really tore up and washed out. Regardless, I still highly recommend...
