I used Christensen's a number of years ago and was not pleased with their product. I am an ardent supporter of small business though, so based on current, positive reviews, I tried them again this year. I placed a telephone order for the "Gather Round Centerpiece" as depicted in this photo from the Christensen website. I paid for the "premium" version. The piece was to be delivered to my daughter for her Christmas table.
The pictured small bouquet and vase were delivered and left on the porch. My daughter texted a picture with a "Thank you" note. Imagine my surprise.
I called Christensen's and spoke with the manager (Nikki), inquiring if there had been a mistake... perhaps delivery mix-up... surely those were not the flowers I ordered. Nikki advised that no, there was no mistake. However, she expressed that she was not familiar with the "Gather Round Centerpiece" product. After Nikki and an assistant looked up the illustration on their website, she offered to remake the order and effect an exchange.
The third picture is of the result. It looks a bit cobbled together to me, with mismatched candles, and everything else in somewhat of a lump. Far short of my expectations of a premium ($87.50) piece based on the web photo.

Read moreOk experience with some customer service issues. First I ordered the flowers and the website said free local delivery. The company is in Chippewa Falls which is 5 minutes from Eau Claire so I figured it would be local. Went through the order online paid for everything and then ten minutes later I get a call saying I need to pay $10 more because Eau Claire is not local which really it is but heck $10 more to not have the hassle to find another place I paid the money. Then I see the charge come through for $10.55, tax I guess but annoying because I authorized $10 not $10.55 and was never told about tax.
The day goes by with no notice from the company about delivery of the flowers so I email them at the end of the day and get a reply saying they could not deliver because the person was not home. Ok fine but why not let me know right away? Why leave me hanging and make me wonder and have to email?
Finally now the flowers have been delivered, I hope all is good because I have not heard yet but did receive an email saying they were delivered.

I received a call 20 minutes after placing the order that they were out of some of the flowers that were pictured, but offered to use the same color scheme with a different selection of flowers. I agreed. They were able to deliver the very next day.
My sister called me after the delivery arrived & was crying, because she was so happy & the flowers were so beautiful. She sent me a photo & I was floored. The arrangement was gorgeous.
