Five out of five. Would do again. We did the three hour sunset trip with two younger children. The Capt(boat driver guy to my youngest) knows the local area like the back of his hand. If you are in the area he is the person to show you around as he tailored the trip to everyone’s needs. As someone with lots of exp with small boats, I could see how serious he took our comfort and safety. The boat is perfect for the tour as it can get into very interesting places. Highlights: he truly is a dolphin whisperer, manatee whisperer and bird whisperer. (The kids got sprayed by a dolphin!, talk about a memory for a lifetime), for me and my wife, learning so much about the local history, ecology and his story as well. Also he has got “the eye” when it comes to taking photos, Another highlight: When we were shelling some stranded fisherman needed help and he got them off the sandbar and out to deeper water without impacting our experience(in fact it added to it to see him affect a rescue). Amazing tour with Capt Craig and worth every cent for the...
Read moreThis company has incredible boat tours through the Everglades! We did not have Craig for our guide but instead went out with his uncle Darrell. Darrell has lived in the Everglades his entire life and told us many stories about the older days in the islands as well as the natives who live here. He showed us some historical spots, some dolphins, and expertly captained us through low/rocky waters to take us to the best spots. We saw a couple bird rookeries and he also brought us to an uninhabited island just outside the national park where we could legally collect the most beautiful shells I have ever seen on a beach. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean and honestly it was just such a lovely experience to explore the Ten Thousand Islands this way. We also ended up being the only two people who booked the sunset tour so we had our very own private tour at no additional cost. I highly recommend Captain Craig’s tour experience to anyone looking for...
Read moreWe did a sunset cruise with Capt. Craig and had an absolute blast! Craig is a pleasure to be around and his family history is amazing. There were plenty of stories and beautiful scenery. In a three hour trip myself, my brother and my son got to learn a lot about the history of Chokoloskee and the people that came to live there. Capt. Craig found us some dolphins that he got to start playing in the wake right behind the boat for us. They put on a great show! Then we went and did some shelling which was fantastic! I could not believe all the shells. Beautiful stuff almost everywhere you looked. We ended up finding a rare Junonia shell and we’re very excited to say the least. To top it all off there was an amazing sun set for the ride in. I would recommend Capt. Craig to anyone. It was truly a memorable experience and we look forward to returning and doing some fishing as well next time. Thank you again...
