We are so ecstatic that we found this doggie daycare for our little girl! My husband and I work long hours, and we did not want to leave our puppy in her crate all day. When we first got her, we lived nearby my office, so I was able to go home throughout the day to let her out and feed her. However, we recently moved, and everything changed.
We needed a doggie daycare that could accommodate us quickly, would allow our puppy to play often in a safe manner, and also was flexible with our schedules. We researched a few in our area, and came across Lynzie and Waterbowl Oasis. Not only did she respond quickly to my request, but she also scheduled a tour with us the next day which was awesome.
When we spoke with her she also informed us that she was an at home daycare, and that her home was catered towards dogs. We thought this was amazing because our puppy would not be cooped up in a small room and only allowed minimal playtime. We let her roam free at our home, and only crate her when we leave for extended periods of time, so we were thrilled to learn that our puppy would be allowed to roam free with supervision and have scheduled break/potty/play times. The dogs are only placed in crates during feeding time or for naps if they need a break. We were concerned about feeding as our puppy has a sensitive tummy, so it was nice to be reassured that the dogs are kept separated during feeding time.
Our puppy can be very timid, and does not like to eat in new places for quite some time if she is not comfortable. If she feels uncomfortable, she stays still, and does not explore. This was not the case when we went for the tour which was awesome! Our puppy explored the entire place, jumped on furniture, and found a favorite toy that she carried with her the entire time we were there. We were so happy that she felt this way!
Lynzie was also a vet tech, and is CPR and first aid certified which is also a HUGE HUGE plus as we are new puppy parents! Our puppy gets into everything and eats everything too so it is reassuring that in case something happens, Lynzie is trained in what to do.
We are now regular doggie daycare clients, and we seriously couldn't be happier. Lynzie sends us pictures and updates throughout the day which is so awesome, and we can see that our puppy is having a blast! Our puppy comes home exhausted every day, and come the next morning, she is waiting by the door next to her harness ready to go back again to play with her new friends!
If you are looking for somewhere safe, fun, and that your dog is not cooped up in a crate all day, this is the doggie daycare for you!!! We will be using Lynzie for her other services, boarding,...
Read moreUp until today, I was a satisfied customer of Water Bowl Oasis. But after the interaction I just had with Lynzie, the owner, I will NOT be returning to this boarder, and will no longer refer any future business to them.
Admittedly, I showed up 30 minutes early to pick up my two pups. I couldn't remember the pick-up hours, texted for them this morning at 10:30 a.m., never heard back and resigned myself to going at the ONLY time during my day that I was available, and that was at 3 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m. arrival. When I texted to announce that I was there, I was told they were closed. When I asked if the would make an exception, I was reminded that the hours were posted online, on social and on the answering machine, and that a fee would be assessed in the future...all good to know for the next time, but being as I was already there, not much help to me today.
Let me say that we have been customers for more than three years. We accommodated every address change, rule change, pick-up schedule, and even purchased hundreds of dollars of services, in advance, to help keep the business afloat during COVID-19. We have NEVER requested any special accommodations/treatment, with the exception of today, when I arrived 30 minutes early.
When Lynzie came out with the dogs, she was visibly annoyed, and preceded to tell me that she had just ripped her nail off, as if to suggest that it was my dogs that caused that to happen. She then begins to "lecture" me that our dog food must be in a different container, and some other rule that would now be required on a monthly basis for "next time."
Well, as far as we are concerned, there will not be a next time. This is not the appropriate way to greet a customer...clearly she was having a bad day, and decided to use my ONE-TIME early arrival as the reason to "let loose" on me, and lay blame on my dogs for her nail incident.
My husband and I have contemplated MANY TIMES to find a boarder closer to our home, but have felt loyalty to WBO, but today was reason enough to look elsewhere. We were the perfect, on-time, paying customer with two lovely dogs that never posed any problem. I'm sure we'll have no issue finding a new boarder that treats its customers better than we were...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place, but it just wasnt a good fit for my dog. First time he stayed there for a few hours he dislocated his shoulder, he is a bit of a clutz so I accepted there was little they could do to prevent that. The staff offered to refund me his stay and cover the vet costs since it was his very first day, which was highly appreciated and I'm glad they stepped up to offer help. But the second time I left him there he came home with pink eye and severe, severe diarrhea. I'm talking pools of poop on the carpet because he cant hold it between the walk between the bedroom to the back door. The staff took time to send me a lengthy text explaining possible causes, but this is definitely more than nervous loose stool. He is ill. Great staff, thorough and accommodating, but their sanitation may not...
