Anthony Bushnoe Anthony was fantastic, he got me a great deal on an upgrade. However, I took away stars for the business itself, not Anthony. I have always shopped at the Verizon in New Hartford, this was my first time at this location. I was happy with my purchase, however, I would not shop at this location again in the future. In fact, I will probably upgrade online from now on. (If you know how to restore your contacts/info from the cloud, doing it online is the cheaper way to go. That's basically all you are paying for in-store and yes you are paying for that.) Also note that this location is an authorized Verizon 3rd-party retailer, not a Verizon Wireless store, there is a difference. I have always purchased a screen protector with a new phone. This location only carried the liquid screen protector which takes 24-36 hours to set. He applied it for me and explained that the screen could still break before it was set. I also always buy a case for my phone, this location did not carry cases for my new phone. So I took my fragile phone and ordered a LifeProof case immediately on Amazon with 2 day shipping. Unlucky as I am, I dropped the phone the next day and shattered the screen (I take full responsibility for this mistake). When I returned to the store, the gentleman (I use that term loosely) with the handlebar mustache who did not offer his name, told me there was nothing they could do, I would have to make a claim against the screen protector manufacturer or the phone insurance that I purchased and pay the $150 deductible. Bummer but it was my mistake. Then, he also added that if I had "just bought an Otter Box yesterday this wouldn't have happened." Thanks genius, next time I'll go to a real Verizon where they carry the accessories for the phones they sell. (When I suggested that to him, he told me that I "probably don't shop at farmers markets either since I like to punish local businesses." Like I said, a real gentleman...and aren't I the one being punished for shopping at a local business? I came here instead of the big retailer and I walked away with half of what I needed, ended up with a broken phone, which he affirmed, if I had just bought a case it wouldn't have happened, and had to shell out an extra $150 to get a refurbished phone!) My suggestion is order your phone and accessories online and do it yourself; you'll get what you want, nothing more, and...

I pulled into the parking lot And parked in an empty parking spot, opened the app and followed the instructions including taking a picture of my driver's license and moving into one of the curb side pickup up spots. A store representative came out after a few minutes and asked for my ID, then asked for my PIN and I explain I use fingerprint log in and remote access requests, I asked if there was a way to reset the pin he said no, I asked if he could do the log in request like they do when I call in , he said no. Then he said he wasn't giving me the phone and left. I called Verizon and got a rep on the phone, explained what was going on they apologized asked for the store number and called them. The Verizon representative did screen log in and walked me through changing the pin. The Verizon representative had the guy come back out and he asked for my pin and wrote in on a sitcy note. The Verizon rep was on speaker and asked why he didn't have the notepad device. After a few more minutes he came out and asked for 98 dollars in taxes, I had the Verizon rep confirm I already paid and had to go demand this all be fixed inside the store. After reading bad reviews from this store and seeing them bully and try to scam people it's unfortunate this kind of business is allowed to continue. Grand total of 57 minutes for curb side already paid for pre checked in with ID along with poor attitude from 4 representatives. If it wasn't for the Verizon representative I called this store would have stole my phone I already paid for. Sad this is what a published combat veteran who stays loyal to a company has...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame into the location in Oneida, NY with my physically disabled mother. She had been given a phone that was certified preowned that was supposed to be new. She had called and spoke to several employees there who had said they would switch it with a new one. They said it would be no problem at all. We came in and were taken aside by a pregnant lady, I did not see any name tag, everyone else had one on though. She listened to part of the story and already started saying that she didn't think she could help us. She even blamed by mother for not seeing the sticker on the front. Figured since it was the manager that gave her the phone that he would know what he was doing. Further more I work in customer service, it is NOT okay to use that sort of attitude and NEVER okay to just blame the customer. I will be sure to spread the word of how horrible this experience was, and I think Verizon should be ashamed for taking advantage of a physically disabled person...
