Title: Beware of Unethical Practices at Port Jervis Auto Mall Service Center!
I recently had an absolutely horrendous experience with the Port Jervis Auto Mall service department, and I feel compelled to share my frustrations to warn fellow consumers.
I brought my 2020 Dodge Diesel 3500 truck in with a specific issue, and the whole ordeal has been nothing short of a nightmare:
Delayed Diagnosis: It took an astonishing over two weeks for them to return my truck, leaving me without my vehicle for an unnecessarily extended period.
Dubious Billing: I received a hefty bill of almost $5000 for supposed repairs, but the charges make no sense, and the lack of transparency is alarming. I was told one thing over the phone, but another in person! You can't trust these people!
Insurance and Warranty Mishandling: They claimed they couldn't submit a claim to my insurance or extended warranty, which, as it turns out, was completely untrue. Now, I'm stuck dealing with the fallout.
Inadequate Repairs: After paying the substantial bill, I found my truck still had issues ā it was riding rough, and they even forgot to put back on a wheel well. Unbelievable! So, they never even fixed the problem, and now it's back in the shop!
Unreasonable Waiting Period: Now, I'm being asked to wait an additional week for a re-diagnosis, and they have the audacity to try and charge me for it. It's clear they didn't fix the problem the first time.
Indifference to Customer Concerns: The complete lack of concern for my time, inconvenience, and overall dissatisfaction is appalling. It's clear they care more about profit and stealing my money than customer satisfaction.
I strongly advise anyone considering the Port Jervis Auto Mall service center to think twice. This experience has left me frustrated and without a properly functioning vehicle. If this is indicative of their standard practices, it's a dealership to avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried doing business here but couldn't get a sales person on the phone after 4 attempts spread out through 2 days so I just stayed with the dealership I ve been using for the last 15 years, M&M in Liberty. Never had an issue there but I always shop around to make sure I am getting the best deal before any new car purchase. I read the reviews and they are all bad experiences. As a business owner I will say that people tend to take time out to talk about the problems but not many actually do so when they are happy. I noticed one of the reviews on a used car states the driveshaft was rusted and this means the car was probably in a flood. This is a huge problem with Google Reviews and why you cant take them too serious! That negative post should not have been posted sine this buyer obviously does NOT know what they are talking about. If the driveshaft is steel, a brand new vehicle driveshaft would be fully rusted as well. Uneducated buyers can hurt a potentially good business establishment. In this case the dealer is still at fault because if they would have taken to time to speak to the person and explain what I am explaining then very likely that negative post would not be there. In closing, keep in mind the location of the dealership...Good Help is hard to find in any area, give these guys some forgiveness for the slim pickens they have to deal with in their surrounding area for help. Its no excuse but if the vehicle is what you want and price is right, take it and service else where. Most service departments suck anyway. Give these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you had a vehicle serviced here, especially oil change with tire rotation, I highly suggest you check your tires. They failed to rotate ours, not once, but twice, causing us to have to spend hundreds of dollars to replace 2 of them. We purchased a new truck from them in 2021 and were loyal to them (until now) for our services. We only had 14,900 miles on the truck when the tires needed to be replaced this month. The center replacing the tires said they had never been rotated. They also offered a āfree oil changeā if the service was not completed in an hour, which they also failed at and are now refusing to refund any money for that too. We were so upset when we found out about the tires, and after waiting an hour and 25 minutes, we forgot about it when we got the vehicle back. I have spoken to the service manager twice but is now refusing to call me back. I would be happy to speak to someone from the company, with authority, regarding this matter. If there was a 0 in here, Iād have chosen that rating. I wouldnāt even recommend their service department for bicycle repairs.
Edit: I have spoken to the VP and they offered a service contract good for free oil changes/tire rotations and did refund some of the charges we paid for services not performed. Not at all what I was asking for. They were unwilling to āshareā the cost of the replacement tires. I still hold my ground...
