I usually don't write reviews, but after playing 18 here I was compelled to let people how poorly maintained this course was. For example, my group and I could not tell the difference between the fairway and the rough, I don't know about you but I think that is a major problem.The grass on the course reminded me of the football field I played on in grade school. I have played on some pretty bad greens in the past but when they are covered in sand, with burn marks and divots, that is a major indication of a improperly maintained course. For the price of $41, I would rather go to other courses around the area for $10 more. Read moreIt is hard for me to articulate the incredible relationship myself and family have had with Pleasant Hill, but I will try anyways: I first started playing golf my freshman year of high school, with hopes of making the team the following year. Pleasant Hill was the first place I went due to the wide, but long, holes and challenging greens/ putting scenarios. Since that first time playing with four buds, I've been coming to the course almost daily. I enjoy walking with my brother, or carting with friends and family, and each 9 poses a unique challenge. Read moreI played the middle and back nines at Pleasant Hill. Overall the staff was friendly as were the other golfers. I felt the course would challenge most average players and while still being playable by newer golfers. The course was in good shape and I only lost balls when I buried them in the woods. Greens were also in good shape, which leaves me to believe most golfers that play this course are responsible and fix their ball marks on the greens.
