Stopped here a few years back while out on a road trip doing photography. The people inside were very friendly and they had a decent selection of snacks and food that we took advantage of while roaming the country side.
We all purchased sandwich combos, some of which contained BBQ Loaf, which was somewhat of a mystery to us, but we ended up liking, and not being able to find anywhere else.
Inside the store was the old cage from when it was also the post office, which was interesting to look at.

   Read moreThese folks went out and found my special needs little brother who had wandered off in the national forrest close by. My family and I will be eternally grateful to them. They fed my brother and listened to his disjointed stories until I arrived to pick him up. They would take no compensation for their kindness. I later returned with the intent of repaying them in some small way and found endless souvinirs to bring home to friends and family. My brother Chuck say's they have really good ice cream and candy. Snickerdoodle cookies and banana nut bread were great as well. Cheap pizza if you need something fast! Clean bathrooms. Good free printed resources like motorcycle routes and trails. Lots of snacks.
