Heather took our engagement photos last weekend, and she did such a phenomenal job all the way from first contact until photo delivery.

When I contacted her, she responded quickly and was detailed in getting my desired feel for the shots, preferred poses, outfits, etc.

When the day came, she gave me very clear directions (with photos) on how to get to the location, which made it easy to navigate to.

The actual session was so much fun. She made it a total blast, and showed us pictures to make sure we were happy. I wanted to redo one pose due to the way the wind made my hair, and she happily reshot it.

Heather came prepared for the shoot with pose ideas and also incorporated our requested poses. She made adjustments to make sure I was poised in the most flattering angles possible, and engaged us in activities to make sure that our smiles were natural.

She promised us the photos in one week, but over-delivered by sending them just four days after shooting. They are BEAUTIFUL. They're everything I could have asked for in engagement photos, and I can't recommend her enough! We will be booking Heather for all future events & milestones requiring photography...

Heather photographed my daughter's senior pics and our family's Christmas photos. While we typically do not enjoy having our pictures made, we understand that they are important in creating tangible memories and family keepsakes. With that being said, Heather is warm and inviting which creates a relaxed studio atmosphere where it is easier to smile and even have fun : ) Her studio is intimate where there are not ten other families waiting and/or watching while another family is being photographed. She has great cute little props. While she does the poses that we all love to see, she also incorporates some nontraditional poses with interesting angles. For example, she took one with the family laughing while "reading" a book, and our faces were turned at slightly different angles to give it that candid feel. Heather did the newborn photos for our first child and we knew there was no one else to call when we had our second. Not only are her photos beautiful and the shots creative, but she knows how to work with infants and has the patience to get the best pictures possible. Newborns don't always cooperate and Heather doesn't flinch. She worked with our toddler and infant which was quite a challenge, but Heather knows how to engage kids to get them to cooperate for the session. Newborn sessions take place at a very stressful time for families right after a baby enters the picture and I can't express enough how nice it is that Heather makes this experience easy for everyone.
