Middle Creek WMA Boat Launch Parking Area — Local services in Clay Township

Just like every other waterway in Pennsylvania this is a lake of 20,000 casts before you catch a fish. The water is chocolate milk and gross. There's 2 spots to fish from. Both of which are bad. You cannot swim in this water. The parking lot is small, the area to back up your boat or kayak is tiny, the ramp is only open a few months out of the year. It seems this place is for bird watchers, as that's all you really see using this are is bird watchers. I wish this place was better, but if you're a fisherman...

Beautiful quiet nook. Paved parking area for about 20 vehicles. Port a pot. 3 picnic tables. You can fish from the edge of the lake. Some open grassy areas that they keep mowed. Deer Path Trail goes off into the woods at the edge of the driveway. This is a great place to put in a kayak and watch the sunset. I love love love middle creek wild life reserve. My my pooch and myself went here to let her run off leash like a dog should be able to do once in awhile. It's very quiet hardly any ppl coming or going and we got to enjoy wildlife at its finest while Lily got to use her beagle sniffer and investigate our surroundings. Great place for wildlife picture...
