This place!!! The hosts are warm and welcoming, their home is beautifully kept and thoughtfully appointed. The bathrooms are updated with quality materials, great towels (it's the little things that matter!!) and comfortable beds. Whether you are coming to stay and spend all your time here, or using it as a home base while you're out doing other things or visiting with friends and family, you feel like it's home. They have thought through many things that guests could want or need. The rooms are spotless and well kept. The temperature inside was comfortable the whole time, and the outside is a wonderful oasis. Fire pit, bar area, a pool, waterside table down by the dock to enjoy a morning coffee or evening snack. ย ย ย Read moreI normally am not one to run and give bad reviews however, when arriving to find out most all the amenities that were offered as a "resort" my wife and I was excited to be able to ride around the island on said bikes that were available hanging in his garage with flat tires and not willing to help out. Paddle boat and kayaks also were not accessible as claimed. Jacuzzi closed. Sauna same no information or of allowed to use. Pool was dirty and had allot of algea growth on bottom. So basically we sat outside getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. But we did walk to a nearby park which had a horse shoe pit that we used for awhile .. all In all we really didn't enjoy the experience because really nothing was available that was advertised. Harsen island is sinking fast (water over sea walls
1 Bar is open with rats 20 inches long. (Nasty Food) no customers
this B&B is wired with cameras and microphones.
No air conditioning
No ice or potable water.
Swimming pool from the 90's ready to collapse.
Otherwise go to a Marriott instead.
Sad that Harsen island will be history...
