Lynn in the processing plant was very helpful and kept us aware of when our 1/2 beef was scheduled for processing and gave us an estimated day that it might be ready for pick up. The meat was vacuum sealed and the cuts looked amazing, and precisely the way I had requested. We have tried some of their hamburger and steaks at our son's home, so we knew the beef's quality was excellent!! The price seemed quite fair for the quantity and quality of their meat. We can't wait to enjoy our beef with our family members for many months to come. We also ordered 20 pounds of fresh sausage in bulk over the phone and it was ready for pick up when we arrived thanks to some great staff at Blalock Meats. My son is a fan of their fresh sausage, so we couldn't resist ordering some for future use. Erica the store manager is super sweet, kind and welcoming. When you walk in you’re greeted and offered any assistance looking for products! They even sell American Wagyu Beef from their very own Providence Farmstead. Those burgers alone are worth a trip to Blalocks! The chicken breast are amazing and tender. Not the kind of chicken breast that just dries out when you cook it. Everyone in my family prefers it over your normal retail stores chicken. I had the same experience as some of the other people with 1 stars reviews. They gave us someone else’s meat and came back to get it brought us supposedly the rest of our cow. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt and send a couple more cows to slaughter. Asked for the bones and everything, we are missing a lot of cuts and they gave us two tiny bags of bones after I asked about where our bones are. Seems like they took the best cuts and gave us almost all ground beef. Also when we they told us to pick it up it was not frozen. Do not send your animals here, you have no idea what you’re going...
