We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Chattooga Farm Distillery, and I've got to say, it was a blast! Located in a beautiful setting, this place is a real find for anyone who likes their drinks.
Right from the start, the staff were super friendly and eager to show us around. They gave us the lowdown on how they make their spirits, and I gotta admit, it was pretty interesting stuff. And they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, and tailored the tour to our interests.
The best part was definitely the tasting. They had a whole collection of spirits to try, and the folks there really knew their stuff. It was cool to learn about the different flavors and techniques that go into making each drink. And they had a bourbon infused honey we got to try, an unexpected surprise:)
What I really liked about is how they care about the environment and their community. They're all about using eco-friendly methods and supporting local farmers, which is awesome to see.
All in all, our visit to Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery was a real treat. Whether you're a big spirits fan or just looking for a fun day out, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. Can't wait to go back and do it all again! Cheers to Chattooga Belle Farm team for...
Read moreI had an awesome time camping in Long Creek, South Carolina, during the Fourth of July week. A bunch of us decided to check out Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery, and wow, they couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. We got to sample a bunch of different drinks—so many that it was hard to pick just one favorite.
Then we met Ben Wesley, the Master Distiller, and let me tell you, this guy’s amazing. He’s got such a great personality and is super passionate about what he does. Ben mentioned that he makes everything right there on site and uses as much from the farm as he can. The tasting room was really cool and nicely set up. Not long after we met him, Ben brought out a special sample for us. Seriously, his talent is unreal.
If you’re ever in the area and skip visiting the distillery, you’re totally missing out. Oh, and about those drinks—I finally settled on their version of a Long Island Iced Tea called the Long Creek Tea. It’s strong but so good.
Overall, this was an experience that I’d love to repeat again and again. Big thanks for the fun and the...
Read moreMost beautiful views in the Appalachians. It's also veteran owned by people that care about the well-being of there community. The people there are like family. If you're respectful to the owner and staff they are some of the most kind and genuine people I've had the pleasure of meeting. There the kind of people that lend a hand to those in there community in need of help.
With that being said there product speaks for itself and is amazing. There kwaluci is my favorite it's a vanilla Bean infused muscadine brandy that is great for sipping with a sweet leather rose cigar. By itself or with a coke in a glass bottle
The dark sky vodka goes well with the local apple cider
I use block and tackle to flambeaue steaks and children
They give tours when available so you can see all the magic happen and there kwaluci is absolutely one of a kind and...
