My house developed a significant amount of algae after all of the recent storms. My HOA took action to send me a letter insisting that we pressure wash our home on August 15, 2024. Little did they know, I had already started looking into vendors on August 11, 2024. J&M Exterior Cleaning Solutions was one of the companies that I had been considering. I reached out to them on August 15, 2024, after reading their reviews and receiving several personal recommendations from others within the community.

Matthew (Matt) Shaftner responded within an hour of my request for an estimate. His quote was extremely fair compared to his competitors. What stood out most was Matt's pleasant and down-to-earth demeanor. He made for great company on what turned out to be a long day. The best part was that my house looked almost as impeccable as the day I bought it.

Even better, Matt wasn't in a rush to receive payment. He said that he’d send me an invoice later when I asked if he accepted credit cards or if I needed to grab cash. He apologized for the delay when I reached out to him this morning reminding him to send me an invoice. Matt explained that he’d had a busy evening assembling furniture for his soon to be born baby. He followed up not long thereafter sending the invoice which I promptly paid with a tip which included a little parenting advice.

Matthew arrived on a wet, rainy day with storms all around us. I told him he was welcome to postpone so he could provide the service in a safer environment. He waited in my driveway until the storms passed and it was safe. He spent 2+ hours power washing my house (which I didn’t think was dirty but according to my husband it needed it) and wow … I’ll publicly admit my husband was right! When I drove up to my house, he was using a brush to clean my columns on the front porch and tailored the entire power washing job throughout the entire house depending on paint, stain on the back porch material, etc. as to not compromise the integrity of any surface. It didn’t reek of bleach and my house was literally sparkly. 100% will be using him every single year. J&M Solutions did a fantastic job on our home!

We’ve had the home for 2.5 years, so it was over due for a washing. Being a new single family home owner, (out of the townhouse where pressure washing was included), I just didn’t realize it needed to be done at least annually.

After a bit of searching, I found J&M Solutions, which is a newer company, so they’re beating all the prices of the bigger boys in the area, but their equipment they brought was on POINT and impressive!

I’m talking this massive water tank on a trailer with this big, serious pressure washer.

Not the little ones on wheels from Home Depot. These boys did not come to play. Plus, Matt was explaining the science behind the solution they use, and it not only makes it easier to remove all the grime, but it uses less water and gets the scum off at a chemical level. It’s pretty insane to watch.
