Lorenzen Equipment — Local services in Clear Lake

I have owned 4 small business's thru the years and I want to address the bad reviews this company is getting from some obviously either jealous or simply down right selfish people. 1st i just purchased a skid start from lorenzens and EVERYTHING they said they would do .... they did.... and more. If i could give them more than 5 stars i would and here's why. It was obvious to me from the second I drove into their yard that this is an American made small business. You have a family that is trying to make a go of it in a world that is getting rapidly gobbled up by the big guys. So if you have to wait a few minutes for a return call or wait for service IT'S BECAUSE THEY DO IT ALL THEMSELVES! Which is why I'm guessing their business's model is simple..... SUPER GREAT PRICES to get people to come to a super small town in no where South Dakota. I called because I saw one of their machines listed online and it was $11,000 less than my local dealer for the exact same unit. So I asked Elliott what he would give me for a trade in my machine and he quoted me $5,000 better than my local dealer..... so i drove 12 hours round trip to lorenzens and I would do it again in a heart beat. The whole drIve i was skeptical..... until I got there and realized THIS IS SIMPLY A SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS IN A TINY TOWN DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO GIVE PEOPLE A FAIR PRICE ON MACHINERY. SO....Unless you can make money faster than that.... this dealership is worth the trip from wherever you live. Bought a S650 from Elliot. He was great to work with and very accommodating! Skidsteer was exactly as described and in phenomenal condition. I drove down from ND and couldn’t get there until after hours, but Elliot stayed open to be there and helped me load everything.
