I came from about 40 minutes away based on the great reviews. The location seems to be in the middle of nowhere. The pizza is amazing. The drinks are also extremely good although the menu is very limited. To make these drinks it requires skill. The people were very friendly but we were the only people there which is unfortunate because the place is great there is no reason it shouldn't be packed but we were there in an off time possibly, like 3pm on a Sunday.. Prices are much better here than elsewhere. The carnivore pizza was our favorite. Oh yea the only food i did not like is the caprese salad, do not order this unless they change it up. It was missing olive oil, they used low moisture mozzarella but you want high moisture so it was firm, also the tomato was a little under ripe so it was firm. You could not cut any of it with a fork so we had to stab it and eat it like a caveman because we were not given knives. :) Also there was no seasoning and very small amount of basil. They do give you a very large portion but you will not enjoy it much and the cost is $15 which seemed more expensive than most of the stuff on the menu. Everything was awesome.. oh yea the meatballs are...
Read moreOkay, there is a lot of things I want to say about this place and they are all amazing. I have been to this place since it first opened and it only gets better. What started as a high quality local distillery with some of the best blended whiskey I've ever tasted turned into an awesome hangout spots with delicious wood fire pizza and locally brewed beers as well! For cocktails, I recommend the strawberry limeade or spice bloody mary. For local beers, I recommend the passion fruit cider, toasty roasty, or orange haze. And for pizza, I recommend the Bro's Pizza. As for the pizza, I wanted to compliment the crust in particular. I am a New Yorker and I can say without a doubt, this is the best classic woodfire crust I have eaten.
I can't recommend this place enough. Grab a cigar, a cocktail (or two), and then enjoy a fresh pizza with a glass of beer to wash it down. This place is one of the few reasons for why I don't...
Read moreSomeone recommended this place and I have no clue why. Our experience was just bad. It seemed completely dysfunctional. No one greets you at the door, you sit in some broke down chairs in a very poorly lit room. We had to use the flashlight on our phone to even see the menu. The waitress appeared to have no clue what she was doing. We ordered root beer to go with our pizza,it was completely flat. We asked for thin pizza, as shown in the pic. The photo on this review is part of the reason we decided to give it a try, not pics from our experience. When we asked for thin pizza the waitress seemed perplexed, she came back and said the cook said they only have thick pizza. Sorry but the pizza pictured is not thick. We paid for our drinks, that we didn't drink and we left. We will stick with Soul Fire from now on. This experience was just bizarre, we...
