BOOK HERE NOW! Trust me! Cascade Outdoors has seasoned, experienced, professional, and super friendly guides. We seriously had the BEST rafting trip ever and guide, our trusty JOE! The staff from check-in to check-out was like family. They were so sweet and kind. They all made you feel so welcome. It was like a family reunion. One gal even lent my friend her personal Chacos! Raft Guide “Teach” gave us the rules and low-down (a real science teacher during the year) who was super cool, nice, and laid back. Joe was our personal guide, clearly a seasoned raft guide which made me feel at ease with my nervous 12 year old. Joe was very knowledgeable, always making sure we were having fun, and navigated us with precision down the Ocoee. He was greeted pretty much by every rafting guide down the river. He clearly was the wise, respected “rock”star, but humble in all ways. With very helpful directions and guidance we felt safe and had a blast all the way down, but he also knew had to spin us and get our rafts to “surf” (I’m sure newbie guides don’t attempt this ;) I think I was smiling in every picture. We didn’t realize how good we had it until 2 newbie guides flipped their rafts. They say, Kip, the owner hand picks guides here at Cascades. You can tell. Everyone from our bus driver to Molly, Joe’s dog, had nothing but hugs and smiles for us all the way always making sure we had a great time. My wife and I booked a last minute trip over the holiday weekend and were VERY pleased with Cascade Outdoors. Everyone was laid back, friendly, and all seemed anxious to make sure we had a great experience. As one who works in the service industry, I understand that even when you're doing what you love, the repetition becomes a challenge. The staff at Cascade took great care to show us first-timers plenty of enthusiasm, passion, and expertise, and to share with us plenty of really bad jokes. From Caleb's 'five pieces of equipment check' to Julie's 'du-busification' speech, you'll have plenty of opportunity to laugh. Best of all, the experienced and highly-trained team (first-responder, first-aid, CPR, and as river guides) works together to ensure everyone has a really fun and SAFE trip down river. We never felt pressured or intimidated but Caleb did a great job in 'reading' his guests to make sure we had maximum fun. I'm sure the entire team at Cascade is fun to work with but we will be asking again for Caleb on our next trip. He's relaxed, he takes an interest in his guests, is funny, and very importantly, takes seriously the safety of his 'crew'....

Cascade is the best, from the customer service, to the rafting experience!! Kipp took the time to explain the trips offered, and other areas that are around that offered things to do. Being an "out of towner", I appreciated his advice, and the time he took to offer it. Our guide, Dakota, was a super Ninja that gave us the best experience possible! Not only was he extremely informative of what was ahead, he seemed to know every piece of the river, which made me feel really safe and at ease. I liked knowing what was ahead and how to handle it. I really appreciated that. He gave us the option to do things more extreme or not. He had our group laughing, and smiling, and at awe, the entire time. The knowledge and professionalism from everyone was amazing! The trip was amazing! Our guide, Dakota, made us laugh and have the best time ever!
