Elizabeth's Pecan Products and a Taste of the South — Local services in Clinton

While Elizabeth’s products are good, their shipping customer service is terrible and certainly not “small-customer-friendly.” For that reason alone, I can no longer recommend them. On December 11th I ordered 5 lbs of pecans. Normally, it only takes two days to receive pecans from them at my location. After a week with no pecans I started calling. It is now January 5th and I still have no pecans and no refund. BUYER BEWARE: if your package is lost at the post office, I was told that Elizabeth’s does not refund or ship out a replacement until the package is found or declared lost by the postal service. We can only imagine how long this process will take. Needless to say, this company is not small customer friendly.

UPDATE: After this post and asking for a call from the owner, I was called back and told I would be given a full refund. During this call, the representative was apologetic. This is the right outcome. However, it shouldn’t have taken weeks and multiple calls to have it resolved. Kudos to the company for righting their wrong. They have an excellent product but I stand by my initial comments that their policy should not cause the customer this much stress and work to get their money back for a product...

Never received the shipment I ordered on December 19th. I have called multiple times, and have not been offered a solution. USPS shows that a tracking number was created, but the shipment was never dropped off at USPS. The girl in shipping is absolutely no help. She said on January 10th that “if you get it you get it and if you don’t you don’t”. Well, it’s January 21st and still no pecans. Not sure I would want to eat them after over a month anyway. Super amazingly fresh pecans that have a rich butteryness to them. Great store front place a short drive off the highway, for that spurt of the moment pitstop. But they also have a Website to order from too for us distance shoppers. Chocolate pecan brittle, honey roasted pecans, praline pecans, jalapeños pecans, chocolate covered pecans.. YUM.
