I'm confused as how I feel about this place. My first experience was great, the hairstylist shampooed, cut and styled my hair and I liked it...paid $35 included tip. My 2nd visit, i asked for high and low lights plus a cut. Same stylist turned my hair almost white and I didn't like it. She added light brown low lights. I told her I had never had low and hight lights applied that way.most stylist would alternate between high and low lights. She said "she thought it was tiidus to do it that way " I paid alot of money , but was ok with it. My third visit was a disappointment. I made an appointment for a hair cut. She asked me if I wanted shampooed first or sprayed and cut, and afterwards she would shampoo it. I agreed. She cut my hair and said "your all done" . Never shampooed it. Terrible . Please read. I went there in April for highlights for prom and I asked for a lot of blonde. Tim told me he would rather do a little bit of blonde and if I didn't like it he would re do it. I told him no I wanted a lot but he continued to do it his way anyway. Like I knew it, at the end I didn't like it. So he had to re do it. Also during the process he pulled my hair and was so rough on it I cried. I could feel him ripping my hair out. As a forgiving person I am, I decided to go back to him today. I’ve lived in the area for about a year and have had problems finding a stylist that would listen to me and cut my hair the way I wanted it to be cut. After a long wait, and lots of research, I went into Rivers Edge Salon to chat with a stylist. This is where I met Tim. He was attentive to what I said and I booked my first appointment for a cut (wasn’t ready to do color until I knew the cut would be good). Tim did an amazing job and I booked my 2nd appointment for color 6 weeks later. Yesterday was the color appointment and I thoroughly love it!
