I am very disappointed with how my experience just went at this hospital, never mind a hospital. I went in for severe lower abdominal pain, and given the symptoms I am experiencing, an ultrasound would help determine what is causing the pain. Not only did I get an attitude from the doctor about not taking Motrin, but I also did not receive any communication on WHY tests were being done. There was absolutely no communication on why I was getting these tests done. One in particular I never asked for and was definitely not there to get the test done and I told her immediately I did not want to be sent to the lab. I finally had to ask what was going on because I started to get confused, and then she told me they don't do ultrasounds after hours... I'm sorry, what? This is an emergency room. I asked why this wasn't discussed at the beginning of the visit, and then she started saying it wasn't necessary to have one. I am so appalled at this entire experience and extremely confused as to how the ultrasound isn't available 24 hours. This is a hospital. I am someone who likes to take charge ahead of things getting worse, so leaving the hospital without any answers besides to follow up with my doctor is probably one of the worst feelings. Do NOT go here. Save your time and go...
Read moreClinton hospital isn't much more than an urgent care center. I was with a patient in the ER earlier today. Clinton has some of the faster waiting room times in the area, but the compliments stop there. The staff, from nurses to techs, are extremely immature and appear not to know how to be professional. You can often hear them gossiping about each other, how there is no management located at the Clinton location, or about the patients. We are not that far away and can hear. Today there was a tech, Amy I believe, that was arguing with a coworker on the floor in a hostile manner. She comes off as rude with an appalling attitude, and extremely lazy just slouching around the nurses station while everyone works. That type of person does not belong in healthcare. They lack equipment, specialists, staff, and seem to have to send everyone to another hospital if your condition is worse than a sprain or the flu. It's sad to see healthcare fall apart like this when medical care is a necessity. Step it up UMass. Your true colors are showing. Perhaps you should have some on-site staff to keep the crew in check and remind everyone that patient care is first. Its not about how your techs feel about each other. I should not know about your lack of present leadership but...
Read moreOf course there’s a few good people at Clinton UMass but there’s an absolute degenerate that tended the ER on 2/16/24. Short black haired, white woman who blanketed my wife’s symptoms with covid when yes she has covid but also had symptoms that justified blood work to rule out any other possibilities. I noticed an abnormality in her heart rhythm at rest not artifact which the degenerate claimed she was moving at the time of the blip. Told us a fever can climb as high as it wants and only rest would subdue. I asked if 105f was dangerous and she said no. People not drs. Like this need to have all credibility stripped and exploited to the max! The absence of an ethical obligation accompanied with unprofessionalism and disrespect are all the ingredients to a toxic care taker. Nothing else to add other than Clinton hospital has to reap the harvest and starts with her. One dead fly can and will ruin an entire bottle of perfume. The scumbags name is.. Dr. GALLETTA Stay clear of this insensitive scrub if you want to get to the bottom of your emergency. If not you will end up at another ER due to a massive Misdiagnosis from a degenerate dirt merchant like...
