Iāve thought long and hard about the review for this course. Letās start with the course itās self, it was AWESOME for the price! Iāve played MANY courses all around the country and this is hands down one of my favorites. The fairways were immaculate and the greens were some of the nicest greens Iāve played on minus all the old divots that all the shit golfers donāt fix. (Not the courses fault). The carts were gas but reliable, from my part of the country most are electric so it was nice to play with some good ole fashioned gas carts! The scenery was great and the weather was cool. However this course was surprisingly challenging with its narrow fairways and drastic dog legs. A few holes with water. Wasnāt a busy day so I canāt say much about pace of play. Now letās get into the customer service/clubhouse. The young lady that was working the bar/cash register was super friendly and welcoming which now a days at the many courses Iāve played is becoming less frequent! Kudos to her. This is the one ānegativeā thing I have to say and itās really not something that I consider a big deal because Iām not a snowflake but knowing that there are a lot of you liberal snowflakes out there figured Iād throw this in there. There was a gentlemen in the pro shop when I first got there to check in that did not seem friendly at all. He seemed cold and unwelcoming but I thought to my self who gives a shit Iām here to golf not make friends. (Which the bartender made up for with her friendliness) however to my surprise when I finished my round and returned to the clubhouse to turn in my keys and ice chest and finish my beer this same gentleman was still in there which I then learned he was the manager, this interaction with him was night and day difference from my first one. He welcomed me in with a smile and a āhow was your roundā and from there on out he was GREAT. I will say they were resealing the asphalt in the parking lot and it seemed like said manager was at his wits end trying to keep people off it. So I donāt blame the guy lol! Overall I rate this course and the experience I received a solid 9/10. Both the manager and the bartender were Great and the course was phenomenal! Iāll be back forsure! Who ever owns this course should really be grateful for the staff that they have working there from whoever is in charge of maintaining the course itself all the way to the manager because they are great group and take pride in their work and it shows.
P.S. there is some shit for brain homeowner that has a house on like the 3rd or 4th hole that has a Harris walz flag flying and I would have loved to shank a ball through their window but unfortunately it was behind...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever been here before. Just moved to Clinton from out of town. Called a 2:52pm, asked if there was a driving range and how it worked. Was open. Showed up at 4:00pm and the driving range was apparently closed and when I asked why the driving range was closed before normal closing hours the cashier stumbled over her words and was not able to provide me a reasonable answer as to why it was closed early. Will not be bringing my money here . Will drive somewhere else to avoid the poor customer service at this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely curtious and friendly staff. Prices are not bad, and with a coupon pay one greens fee+ the cart second player is free. We tee-off early and for the most part take our time with a couple of cold ones in our hands. Not a bad course, most of the sand traps have been removed. A few tricky holes, but for the most part not a difficult golf course. The crew takes care of the 18 hole course and the executive 9 holes. The grounds could be "better" maintained. Branches, and sticks, sometimes clutter...
