Van Buren County Fairgrounds — Local services in Clinton

I have spent many happy hours here a volunteer, for the Annual Fair, working to maintain and upgrade the Fairgrounds and at events to raise money to do the last. This is an event center and only open for events or work days. Yesterday's event was one of the happiest/sad occasions I have ever attended, a Celebration of Life for Corrine Weatherly who was Fair Manager for most of 4 decades. She will always be a part of this place and now has a permanent marker. I pray many more decades will have the opportunity to experience the best of country living that was experienced here under her able...

Thank God it doesn't cost to get in and parking is only $4 but it does need more ride's $28 for unlimited ride's but there's only 6 rides or so for the little kids and the same amount for the Big kids we shouldn't have to pay the same price as the big fair's when we only get a couple rides just saying I'm thankful we do have something once a year for families to do just saying a lot more needs added to the fair...

This years Fair was a Total waste of time. There was very little, almost nothing there. If it weren't for the kids and Livestock I would say...
