Harbin is a quirky and wonderful clothing-optional hot springs resort.
I spent two nights in one of Harbin's "creekside caravans", and it was fantastic. The caravans are conveniently located and are perfectly equipped for two people to spend a few days in. (Attached is a photo of the inside of a caravan. There is also a kitchenette which isn't pictured.)
The springs themselves are lovely, although be warned that the hot hot pool can get dangerously hot. It's invigorating to go back and forth between the hottest and coldest pools.

They have springs with different temperatures, also they have next to each other one really cold and one really hot and I loved to do that temperature shock therapy. Anyway just have the awareness that this is a pro nude facility(in the pool section), so if being around naked people makes you uncomfortable, then I will not recommend it, definitely not a place for prudeness. I would take Harbin any day over Esalen (which has become very high tech, Wi-Fi everywhere, and everyone on their laptops at Esalen). That being said, I like the overall vibe of Harbin. My only preference would be that there would be certain days of the week (or certain hours of the day), that there was a clothing-mandatory. For example, Ashland does that at WellSprings.
