I have been dealing with Aspen sound for many years. I brought several of my friends and family remote starts, cameras, stereo systems, and last but not least LED headlights. The headlights flickered all of the time and I had them replaced and win one went out I was told Iām sorry your warranty has expired. The warranty should have been extended again on the replacement product. I was advised by Dylan that they are no longer made and I can buy the new one thatās upgraded and still pay full installation price. These lights of been nothing but a headache so why would I want to rebuy them? I wanted the ones that I had replaced. Then my friend goes in and has all of his stuff removed from one truck and added to his new truck. Dylan advised him that he needed to purchase a new basil for his camera, once that was reviewed by someone else there they told him that a basil did not need to be purchased and that they do those all of the time. He dropped the truck off and is called later and told that the rear camera is broken and that he needs to buy a new one. This camera was removed from them put into a box and never left the box until the new truck was brought in. I Purchased a remote start system for my husbandās jeep several years ago and it lasted approximately one year and he brought it down there and they told him that he was not doing it right. He was doing it right because we all have them. So itās just a piece of garbage. As I have stated, I have spent lots and lots of money at the store just to be treated like trash. We have given them several opportunities to fix the problems and it is never happened. I want people to be aware that regardless of warrantees or promises these people do not back their product up. Some of the staff there has gotten ridiculously arrogant and is always trying to push products that are not actually needed to up their commission. Sadly, if you want repeat business you need to treat your customers well because I am no longer sending people to them. I am very disappointed in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was the second time I used Aspen Sound for aftermarket car modifications and I'm still just as impressed as the first time.
In early 2023 I brought my 2009 Subaru Legacy in for a radio install that could do Bluetooth calls and run Android Auto so I could run apps like Spotify without using a cheap Bluetooth receiver I had previously been using. For this install, I talked to Nathaniel and he walked me through the best options for my needs to get me the best price with the best features. I had it installed and have had no significant issues thus far, almost a year later. I had one hiccup with the system and when I called they said to just stop by sometime to have them troubleshoot.
This time, in January of 2024, I went in to have a dash cam installed (I was starting a job that would commute to Spokane 5 days a week and wanted extra insurance). I talked to Bryce this time who was great at giving me the best options and letting me know what option he believed would work best for me. I stop by to drop my car off as scheduled. They did encounter a hiccup with another job that slightly postponed mine, but I was super happy to still able to have my job done the same day with the same attention to detail. Working with both Nathaniel and Bryce has been a great experience, so I would assume the other guys working there would be easy to work with as well.
Additionally, for both jobs, I was given a basic tutorial before driving off to make sure I didn't have any major additional questions and troubleshoot easy problems from the get go. Side note but still important to me, the quotes and the end prices have matched up for me both times, something I know people are less fortunate with at other modification shops.
Overall, I'm super impressed and happy with my results. I will definitely be stopping by to get other jobs quoted and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpent thousands here with 1 full sound system and remote start in one car and a sub/amp and remote start in the other.
First car blew every part they installed within a week. You don't install a $2k sound system to keep it below talking volume but because of their wiring that's all it took to blow a speaker. It took another shop 2 days and another $1k just to fix the mess of wires these guys left. it never blew another speaker after that. I was in your shop almost weekly letting you guys try to get it right....you never did.
The other car with sub/amp has always had a delay/echo on the sub, they said it's normal and tried to sell me more stuff they don't know how to install. It soundsterrible. Ever since they touched my car the battery is unreliable, I'm pretty sure yet again they got their wires crossed (excuse the pun) and the hardware they installed is constantly draining my battery. I've had to replace 8 batteries in a 2017 car because they don't know what they are doing. I'm going to have to pay hundreds more just to have someone fix this places mistakes. They also installed some headlights "brightest they have" are so dim now they look like my running lights and my car looks cross eyed because of the angle they were installed.
This store is a bunch of kids who have no idea what they are doing and have no issues using you expensive vehicles as test dummies. Go to spokane or find someone who knows what they are doing, this place will cause massive damage to your car. And to the owner/manager who will probably try to bring up the lifetime warranty on them....I've taken both cars back more times than I can count without a fix at what point do you admit incompetence and actually train your people on the...
