I finally went in this store in CDA. This store has a great selection of home decor, but they clearly don’t push for providing great customer service. The floor employees just walk right past you and don’t say anything until you approach them. There are several check out counters and they only have 1 cashier ever there. There was another employee doing something at one of the check out counters, but she never said a word or even looked at us and she wasn’t willing to check us out.
Finally, the lady who checked us out was really nice and asked if I wanted to sign up with my phone number for the store program thing... like everyone is doing. What sold me was the receipt free returns! She stated, they simply look it up with your phone number. Love that!
So a couple days later, I returned some stocking holders and wanted to exchange for a different style. The lady instantly asked for my receipt. I said I don’t have it. She was pretty annoyed. I said the lady just the other day stated if I signed up, you don’t need a receipt and it can be looked up with your phone number. She said a little snotty, “Well it doesn’t work all the time.” Good grief. Why the attitude? Just try it! Why not ask “ Do you have your receipt or a phone number to look it up?” It was her goal to just make me feel dumb for not having my receipt. Weirdest thing! She looked up my phone number and there they were!!!! That was faster than the conversation about the dumb receipt. I got my whopping $16 refund then went out to get the other 2 items. Came back to 3 people in line and the same cashier checking someone out. Most stores require their only cashier to call a back up if there are a couple of people in line and the first person in line had a cart full of tons of stuff while the other few in line had just 1 or 2 items including me. Luckily after 10 mins, a young girl came up to get returns it looked like and noticed the line and went right over to a register to check people out, but she just came up by accident. She checked both of us out while the first cashier was still with the same lady.
After just 2 visits, I had 3 pretty annoying experiences which will forever leave me with a bad attitude regarding this place. I used to work retail years ago so I try to have more patience than others, but my experiences here are pretty frustrating and this store isn’t on my list to ever...
Read moreWe are repeat customers! Allow me to let you know why. We just moved here from Boston, Massachusetts. I do not believe that this store is anywhere in New England, however my Soulmate and I brainstormed about designing our guest bedroom in a Cape Cod theme. We found everything we needed in one store. They have framed pictures, they have lamps, they have sea shells, they have coral, they have glassware in an aqua theme, they have darkening shades, they have mirrors, they have whale tails. They have everyrhing you need when designing a room. We had a budget and we stayed within thise perimeters. We also purchased a King size pillow top mattress. Every furniture store in the area told us that At Home products were of lesser quality. They discouraged us but we researched the product and went ahead with the sale because it had great reviews.
DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY TELL YOU!
This store has a wonderful friendly staff. A wide selection of products. And if you are an Interior Decorator, there is creativity in every shelf.

If you are handicapped, there is plenty of parking. The entrance is also handicapped friendly. The store is highly visible from the main road.
Come and experience what we experienced being from Boston. People are warm and friendly. A great reason to shop at this store.

Read moreI ordered a couch from this store online and paid for delivery. It was delivered at the bottom of the stairs, and in the walkway area of my lower neighbors blocking their pathway. I called At Home and was basically told “not our problem” because they use a third party delivery service, and this company cannot be reached for customer service. They had no suggestions and would also not take back the item. Fortunately I had a neighbor who offered to help carry it up, otherwise it apparently was going to just live at the bottom of the stairs until it got stolen. I would not shop at At Home again until they can take responsibility for the products they deliver. There is also a bad scratch on the couch that I don’t even know what to do about. If At Home wants to help make things right I’ll gladly update my review but this is some of the worst service I’ve ever received before. I was willing to give 1 star because the evening manager I spoke to actually made an attempt to get me a customer service number and returned my phone call, I didn’t get her name but kudos to you for at least...
