I have found my jeweler for life. I had a diamond fall out of one of my wedding bands and then a week later the larger center stone in my engagement ring came loose and fell out. (thank the lord I caught it) Since the jewelry store my ring was purchased at no longer in business I was in a panic. I called Cheryl Burchellâs and a wonderful woman answered and told me to come on down and theyâd take a look like she knew me forever. So I went right in. Having never had jewelry repaired I fully expected it to be unaffordable but I went to just get an estimate so that I could start saving for the repairs. I was so pleasantly surprised! The sweet woman who helped me at the counter explained that it was a matter of replacing some prongs and putting my diamond back in and the small diamond that was lost from my band was so inexpensive that it was no big deal to fix that either. She spoke with the goldsmith and I was given an estimate and it was around $115 dollars but no more than $150! I was sold! Thank goodness, my heart has been broken since I hadnât been able to wear my rings. I left them and was told it would be a few weeks. I dropped them on a Friday and by the next Wednesday they were ready! They are perfectly repaired and sparkling like brand new! Iâve always envied people that could say âoh I have a jeweler you could take that too let me connect youâ whenever a friend had an issue and now I can confidently say I have a jeweler I can send you to. It felt more like family than a business and they truly made me feel like they were concerned about my concerns and worries and accommodated! Amazing! Great work Cheryl Burchell Goldsmiths you are an old school small business and I am so impressed! My pictures just donât do it justice but believe me when I tell you theyâre PERFECT. Explanation if the photos: The pictures are my whole wedding set together and then there is one picture in pretty poor lighting with the two that...
Read moreI brought my grandmother's ring here to be repaired after the band broke a few years ago the repair was below par and the ring was not fully rounded I decided to move on. I have an engagement ring that needed rhodium plated and figured it was a simple job (was wanting to see if their rhodium would last longer) and they could probably do this one. Since it was two tone it costed a little more and I was okay with that.... when I called to see if my ring was ready they hadn't gotten to it yet (i think they forgot about it based off my phone call to them) when I came to pick up my ring there were scratches on it, the lady took it back to be buffed (should have been redone since it takes the rodium off) I took it home and realized the rhodium was not fully there after I started itching again. I called them and they said to bring it back in and they would redo it. I took it in again and after some time I was able to pick it up again, I noticed there was still a scuff/scratch on my ring, the lady took it back to the goldsmith and Cheryl they claimed to not see anything. I asked the lady if she could see it and she said well they are the ones with the magnifying glass. I was then asked to put two lines with sharpie on the outsides of the scuff/scratch, they could still not see it. The lady said they could do it again I agreed and said it should be since it needs to be done correctly. Some more time goes by and I'm able to pick up my ring the scuff/scratch Is still there and rhodium is still missing on the ring my ring was there for a couple weeks. I decided to take my ring home since evidently it was a mistake trusting them again and it didn't seem they fixed the issue. If you don't buy your jewelry from them they don't seem to care as much, but they will take your money :) I am unable to...
Read moreCheryl Burchell is the only jeweler I will use. They hand created and crafted my wifeâs wedding ring for me while I was out of state. Even from far away and using emails they made it easy. After purchasing a new diamond in the Caribbean for the center stone and having Diamonds International screw up my wifeâs wedding ring, Cheryl Burchell fixed to its original and perfect state. Then they created a custom ring with the original center stone. A couple years later I walked in to buy a âthank you for not dyingâ present for my wife after complications with baby number two and they offered me an amazing set of diamond studs that were the perfect gift. Routinely they are happy to clean our rings or fix my watch when pins fall out. They are always happy and smiling when you walk in and their work is second to no one. No other place I have found cares about their customers and creates pieces with such detail and elegance as Cheryl Burchell Goldsmiths. Itâs the only place I will use because my wife deserves one of kind pieces and they are the only place I would trust to...
