Jimmy's used to be the favorite go to spot for breakfast over the years. Whenever family and friends came to town it was the first place you would take them to eat because of the amazing food and homey feel. Now you feel like you are inconveniencing them the moment you walk in the door and the dark and drab redecorating was a poor choice as was the addition of televisions. Gone are the days where you would sit down and feel like you weren't rushed out the door. The check was brought over before my table even had all of the ordered food. Drinks weren't refilled the entire time we were there, no one came by to ask how the food was or if we needed anything.
When you went to Jimmy's you felt like you were family and you used to be treated as such. Unfortunately this is not longer the case. Now it seems as though it is a working billboard add for Diners Drive-ins and Dives. When asking a question about a menu item the waitress clearly spaces out instead of listening as her reply to a question about food was "So do you want to know what Guy ordered or?" My wife had to get her attention to repeat the question again to get an answer.
The quality of food is nothing like it used to be. The eggs have a weird consistency even when scrambled. The gravy that used to be so rich and flavorful tastes like it was from a box with way too much water added as it sloshed over the plate. The biscuits are no longer the light and fluffy goodness they used to be but are gummy and off-putting. The sausage patties were cold in the middle and very microwaved tasting. Nothing about the food tasted smelled or looked homemade as it used to be. A better breakfast could have came from a chain restaurant such as Denny's or even Carl's Jr.
Unfortunately our once favorite restaurant is now a place we will never return to or look forward to taking family...
Read moreI'm not one to focus on the negatives but boy howdy, visited Big Lot's for the 1st time in years and I couldn't believe how shabby, ghetto and honestly sad the store has become! In my humble opinion, in addition to the seriously overpriced & poor quality inventory (save for their excellent selection of nice furniture) Big Lots had become like many small box stores-cram the aisles with a selection of items you'd see at the dollar store but triple the price!! Their staff isn't the problem for me, they are super friendly and try to assist with locating items etc from what I saw. I was sent here on an errand for my handicapped neighbor who needed a new kitchen trash can, trash bags, and 409 cleaner...he gave me 25 bucks for The purchases yet I ended up throwing in 6 bucks due to the outrage prices for 3 simple things... I would of gone elsewhere but didn't have the time to run around town. By the Way, City Thrift is a complete joke. I believe it's falsely advertising themselves as a nonprofit since their contributions to the Charity they claim to run has been identified as bogus in several online watch groups Also, City Thrift has employees who engage in questionable practices as far as selling donated items on Facebook Marketplace for their own financial benefit. Yes, I can verify these claims, or feel free to look up City Thrift via Google and see what you discover. It's ridiculous nobody calls them out like they did with the fiasco at Value Village which went down a...
Read moreWelll..... I just finished shopping at this store to buy some baby clothes... at the baby clothing section, I got some clothes, and out if nowhere, tripped and fell really hard on a ladder and hurt my leg and im pretty sure its bruised. Also quite confident its on camera.... 2 other women saw me and asked me if I was okay... However in telling the store cashier, I explained what happened and all I got was "Okay" rang my stuff up like nothing. You could have asked if I was okay or offered a discount, but no,you chose to be super rude Not giving this place my business anymore. If the store clerks are this insensitive and just are there for a job, then fine, dint be in a job with that...
