What an amazing experience. I have a rare illness and can no longer control my body temp. Because of this and night sweats (similar to cancer patients), I freeze at times when I sleep & then once cold, it's difficult to become warm. All week I was terrified & filled with anxiety because of my HUGE electric bill. Today I have a shut off notice from Avista so I called Community Action Agency in CdA, Idaho. The amount of compassion from Angie brought me to tears. It's more than obvious when someone loves their job; loves reaching out to assist those less fortunate. Our world is cray cray. It is refreshing to meet people who genuinely care; who live in the real world and understand life's challenges. When we as individual's assist those most vulnerable, God reciprocates in kind.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.♥ May the God of Eternity bless all of you at CAA along with your loved ones - keeping you safe while wrapping you in a veil of...
Read moreI love the people who work here. If it wasn't for you guys than some of us couldn't survive out here. I've been struggling some the last couple years and have had to utilize a few of the resources offered here and all I can say is the workers personalities are everything! When you are feeling low already from struggling rest assured you won't be judged you will be met with smiling and eager to help friendly faces that make you feel like family that is a rare quality, I've had some churches help me before and they treat people so bad at some of them so to know there is a place that is not going to judge and can under people need help sometimes is a big thing cause asking for help is already so hard to do for some people. Thank you for what you do. If you ever need any volunteers to help please reach out to me because Id love to give back with my time. Forever grateful for the help...

You can go once a week and get quite a lot of groceries, including a lot of produce, vegetables, and fruit. Once a month you get an extra package with more Pantry food and meat than usual. Very friendly people, nice atmosphere. In the office, they offer free books for kids and adults, free coloring pages and often free crayons as well as other freebies occasionally. There is a bathroom you can use. They also offer assistance with your electricity bill. One of the best food banks in town, I...
