I was so pleasantly surprised with this establishment, I took some coins in and I didnāt know the value, ( usually thatās a perfect customer for certain coin shops, and they get taken advantage of) THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE SHOPS. A batch of dimes I had I almost took them to the coin star that day which would have given me about $33.00, I had no clue the value of all the coins I had, but I had a rough guess of about 100-200 dollars. I believe it was the owner, looked at them all, didnāt talk much , but polite and at the end he wrote down on a piece of paper what he was willing to offer me and it was a couple bucks under $1,200. I about fell over. I was so happy and the honesty they showed knowing I knew nothing about my coins, you just canāt put a value on that. Since my visit I have told so many people about them and tell them this story. And Iāll continue to do so.
** Went in there a second time and wasnāt treated very well at all, complete 180 from the first time I was there. Owner told me most of my charms on bracelet werenāt silver, and tossed it back at me. I looked at them again and clearly saw 925 on all of the charms, I told him he was mistaken that there all silver. Then he kinda has an attitude and made me feel like I was a waste of time. ( I was really needing any extra cash I could get for my brain tumor meds) so 50-100 bucks maybe a waste to him but, it was everything to me. maybe he needs to think about what that other person selling may be going through! He ended up buying it. But with a snippy attitude.
*3rd time I was in I drove 40 miles from home to get there. I checked online to make sure they were open. Online said open until 5pm , I got there at 2:50 and waited until about 3:10 before anyone was available to help me. When it was my turn he said we close at 3 today. . And I said well ur website says 5pm and I even checked so I didnāt waste my trip. I drove 40 miles one way. And you could have said that when I walked through the door and not made me wait 20 more min to tell me u wont help me. They ended up helping me and it took 3-5 min and I was out. But if you run a store that has customers coming and going. Make sure your hours online are correct. Itās not very considerate to waste peopleās time and gas when itās a simple couple clicks of a button online to change it. I would now give it a 4 out of 5, just because I feel I can trust them on not ripping me off if I have something valuable ( like other places do) and to me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in here on my drive from Spokane to Missoula, always looking to dig into back issues. While primarily a coin shop, they did have about 8 boxes of $1 books, along with a couple boxes of books more pricey. Finally, there was a cabinet that had CGC graded books and other high dollar items. Was worth the stop as I did find a couple items to buy. Books were priced well, especially for condition. Place was busy with people on the coin side though, so this shop must know alot here (which I know nothing). And if records are your thing, there was a very large selection to peruse through as well. Glad I took the...
