I went in with a lot of anxiety and no expectations to find anything because I’ve had a lot of trouble in the past. Only in the last 5 years have I become a plus size lady due to medical reasons and I’m still trying to find confidence in my body. When I walked through the door, Amy greeted me and asked me what she could do for me. I explained to her that I have had issues finding bras that fit correctly and comfortably in the past, to the point that I gave up on wearing bras because they were all too tight and not sensory friendly. (I have high functioning autism.) She took the time to listen to my complaints and concerns and told me that she could absolutely help me find something that was perfect, just for me. She then measured my waist and my bust and came to that I was a 42C or 42D. I told her C’s have fit me well in the past, but it’s always the waist that is the problem. She listened, and then took everything I said in and found one she thought would work for me. She let me try it on, adjust it to fit, sit, jump, and walk in it and it was PERFECT. That is the one I am wearing right now. I’ve never in my entire life had a bra that fit as well as this does. She saw my excitement when I came out of the dressing room and helped me find additional colors of the same design for work. When checking out, I was nervous about how much everything would add up to. Just like it is for everyone right now; money is tight for me. She saw this and told me about their store credit card option and asked if I wanted to apply. I said sure, why not? Instantly, I was accepted for a great credit limit, could use it right then and there, and got discounts off. It was truly a life saver. Amy gave me the best service and assistance that I could have asked for. She made an intimidating situation fun and exciting. I’ll definitely be coming back, look forward to working with her again, and finding more quality pieces that fit my new womanly body....
Read moreI have never had as positive of an experience clothes shopping as I have at this Lane Bryant location. I had an injury a couple years ago that led to weight gain. I have been so insecure shopping for my body since. When I started a new job I needed some new work clothes, living in Montana I ended up going to 3 different stores across the state including Torrid. All of whom claimed to sell my size but none of which kept my size in their store locations. I gave it one last chance by loading up my friend and driving into Idaho. Lane Bryant not only had my sizes in stock but they had plenty of options. The gals who helped me encouraged me, found me options, and uplifted my mindset. I was on a strict budget and they didn’t treat me any different for that. In fact they were determined to help me get the most deals for my dollar. To top it off they sent me a hand written card a week after I had been home. It made me cry. Three stores before them had a clear message of “I don’t care.” “It’s not my problem.” And this Lane Bryant went out of their way to help me be successful with my shopping needs. I plan to...
Read moreI had enjoyed shopping for nice clothes that I felt good wearing. I had a blouse that the neckline and sleeves looked old and saggy after one wash. They do not return, exchange or credit for faulty product UNLESS the tag is still on it. Who wears clothes with tags attached?? Also, tag would come off in the wash. Beware of what you buy as almost impossible for a positive outcome. I left without buying anything and had a50% off. Not worth it if you can't wear it...
